what happened?
What exactly happened? i know the comic stopped being updated but.... Why? Did he lose interest? Did his computer break and he cant afford a new one yet? Maybe he died. I know the Ian person is still alive (RPG world is his comic) but maybe that guy Mark Shallow died. Its pessimistic, but its possible. Does anyone actually know why he stopped?

My hypothesis is that Ian and Mark are simply too busy with their own respective comics to do any more work on this their joint comic. What saddens and disappoints me is that the archive button is not working so I can't even go back and read any of the old StarSomething comics.
Ian and Mark, please fix that link for all of the people like myself out there who would like to become new fans but just recently found our way to your site. Either that or take it down.

So I just started reading the StarSomething comic today, and saw the last update was some time ago. And then I came to the message board and saw theories of webrunner (webby as we at CMC and Adventurers and Antihero For Hire call him) being dead?
Okay. Webby is definitely not dead. Why he stopped with this comic, I don't know, but you can find his own comics - which are updated Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays - at http://www.antiheroforhire.com and http://www.adventurers-comic.com and they're excellent comics worth reading!
Also, Webby is the programmer and overall owner of an online card game called Cardmaster Conflict (CMC for short). That can be found at http://www.cmc.redleaf.de .
And Raistlin... the archive button is broken, but you can still find the archive at http://starsomething.keenspace.com/archive.html . Alternatively, you could use the back and forward buttons (they look funny, like square brackety and colored green and stuff) directly on top of the comic.

Maybe they just assumed because they both ran vastly popular webcomics people would fall at the feet of anything they churned out..and it kind of didnt work, so they gave up
or maybe they just couldnt be bothered
or maybe they just couldnt be bothered

I MAKE MANY COMICS / Some are on paper! / Used to have one on Keenspace too...
