Oh my lord... it's emails like THAT that make me REALLY wish I didn't have to put the comic on hold.Dear "Soap Committee,"
I am the deputy editor of Flashback, a college magazine in Dublin City
University, Ireland. I am writing a feature about graphic novels and comics
on the web. I would like to use one of the pictures from your comic "Deity
Permit" as an illustration to my article.
In order to use it I need your permission! If you agree, you will keep the
copyright on the piece but I would be allowed to use it. I really like your
work and it would be a privilige if I could use your illustration at http://pele.keenspace.com/d/20031012.html
in my article.
I need to hear from you as soon as possible as my deadline is approaching.
I look forward to your reply.
Yours,
Shane Leavy

I wish I had more time to draw my comic. It's not the storyline that is so difficult, it's the drawing of the comics. I love my comic.
However, I've been forced to take a long break from mine and I don't know when I'll be able to resume it. I'm too busy. I've got a couple drawn that I haven't posted, because I'm planning on actually getting a full storyline completed before I update again. It looks as if this is not going to be possible. In fact, I think I'm going to have to quit the comic--something I've never, ever wanted to do. If I dared, I'd get someone else to do the art, but I don't know if I'd be able to trust anybody else.
I may, however, try to do comics in pencil and see how that goes. It makes me sad to see other comics die, and I'd be doubly sad to have to quit mine--although I'd definitely at least leave a story somewhere on the site to tie the loose ends and all.

Is that so?
