Uh... I didn't really finish anything in a usable, HTML format. And even if I had, it'd be the least original of the bunch.STrRedWolf wrote:Damn. Now we have two contenders! RPin and fi13r. CHRIS!!!!
If you want me to HTML-ize it, I can after I finish my next Rugg cartoon tonight, I guess.
By the way, Chris, in case you respond to the above paging, I couldn't seem to find that font you were talking about (the only one I found by the name you gave was obviously not the right font... by the way, do you use the same font for the logo text as you do for the page headings? I'm guessing no, since the page heading font looks wider and bolder.)
The font I found that best matches the font used for Keenspot's logo is called Alternate Gothic No. 1. It's a commercial font and cost about $20 to buy.
However, almost all computers ship with the font Impact, which is very similar to Alt Gothic, just a little heavier. This is the font that Keenspot uses for it's headlines, and is part of the standard web font-set.
unfortunately, I found all this out after I did my site, so the fonts there don't really match Keenspot. I'm working on a second version of the basic design, taking into consideration the fonts, as well as any feedback I get from here. I hope to get that one done soon, probably in a couple of days.
Thanks for all the feedback everybody.

I'm saying I hand-manufactured raster versions of the fonts that they use there, including the text in their logo, and I'm offering them to you if you want to use themzhypoh wrote:The font I found that best matches the font used for Keenspot's logo is called Alternate Gothic No. 1. In your last post I thought you were asking Chris about the fonts, that's why I responded. I was kind of fortunate that I already had the fonts, otherwise I would probably take you up on your offer. I've got to say though, I'm impressed that you were patient enough to manually raster the font set. I've tried to do that on other projects and I usually get bored and stop around somewhere around 'h'.
