somebody tell me what is going on here?

--Hey, I just stumbled across this (really damned cool, btw) strip a few days ago. I spent the afternoon reading through the archives.
-But then we've got this last month and a half or so story arc.
-Somebody please tell me WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?
-From what I understand, Donny and Kaylen slept together, and they were apparently happy with that, as Kaylen was seen eating breakfast with Donny the next day, and was markedly un-distraught with the whole issue.
-Then... for no apparent reason at all, Kaylen was super-pissed with Donny, who then threatens suicide, but doesn't pull it off, because Kaylen comes to his aid.
-Was the whole phone conversation/suicide thing a flashback, as indicated by the grayish background? Or was that something that happened in the linear arc?
-Then the thing with Adam and Donny, which to me, makes even less sense than the alleged rape thing with Kaylen. Did Donny and Adam make with the mansex? Or is Adam just comforting Donny, as he (Donny) is apparently distraught.
-I still can't figure out why? When did Donny rape Kaylen? I didn't see this happen. They appeared to have consentual sex, as them wacky highschoolers tend to do sometimes.
-So, either I'm totally missing something, or Caster has departed from the linear progression that his strip has maintained from the onset, choosing instead to fragment and run some temporal shifting in his strip.
-If indeed he is running a nonlinear, temporal-shifted story, he's not pulling it off right, as its far more confusing and disjointed than it should be.
-Not that's a bad thing, nonlinear storytelling is a very difficult concept to properly execute, I've been writing professionally for a few years now, and I still can't get it right. Keep up the good work, this strip rocks.

Eh, I had a feeling some people might get lost ^_^;Okay, here's what's happened. Remeber when Kaylen got pissed and left Donny after Donny admitted to sleeping with Adam when Donny first went over to Adam's house?Well, in the flashback (with the greyed background and stuff), Donny was all sad and Kaylen came to stop him from hurting himself but instead Donny rapes her, though she was slightly forgiving at first as noted when Donny find's himself in bed with her (not inside the flashback series).BUT... Since Donny didn't remember what happened, Kaylen grew angry and regretted letting Donny sleep with her, plus, Donny grabbed Kaylen which really pissed her off because he broke his promise. So, she got pissed. Donny falls into another depress state and runs to Adam.Next day at school, Adam's yelling at Kaylen (current strips).I hope that clears it up for you. If you need any more clarification, just ask.-Caster------------------

AH! I went back a few more months in the archives and read up on this little luv-triange doodad. Now that some clarification has been given, everything's about as clear as mud.
-Thanks--Oh, who the hell keeps making those stupid dancing shits? I'm gonna find the guy that makes those stupid things, remove his spine, and utilize it as a doorstop.------------------
