Recently I installed our HP Printer to our PC, and then immediately I updated our Norton AntiVirus 5.0 Rescue Disks. This week (I haven't used the computer since the printer installation), Norton told me there was a change in the inoculation boot records and should I "inoculate" or "repair?" Unfortunately, I chose Repair since I wasn't sure. I just read the Norton manual and it told me I should have chosen Inoculate since the change was expected. It says since I chose the wrong option, it can corrupt my disk. Gah, what should I do? Reinstall Norton AntiVirus 5.0? Reinstall my printer? Or something else?

Well, if nothing's happened after a day or so, probably nothing happened. But if anything does happen, it's likely the only thing changed by Norton are the printer files, so just unplug, uninstall, then replug and reinstall.<P>Hope that's helpful.<P>-Caster<P>------------------
