An Update and New Style - Whaddaya think?

His superpower?

He sucks, he's always pissed, he talks little, and has no success w/ women (despite super-hero-like body)! Oh yeah, he's got nearly no charisma, uses foul language, and gets drunk all the time!

But underneath the exterior (actually, not that there's much of a difference underneath) is....

SUPER MATHEMATICIAN!

He can do 1000 proofs in 1 picasecond and his brain process info faster than the speed of light! (hey, won't his brain be processing back IN time?). Now isn't that cool?

Oh, and that's his costume he's wearing outside. Nice that it's not his underwear, eh?

Don't worry, it's only today I drew that style.

Speaking on your style. I'd have to say when I first saw your comic I was like "Ewwww, this person is just WASTING internet space."

That was like MONTHS ago. Now I go back and I'm like

"Mmmmm how creative! Why haven't I looked at this before."

Scarily that was upon going to the first page again o.0 Am I a time Hippocrite or WHAT?! But anyway, I like your style period now. It's SO nice to have someone with a style as UNIQUE as yours. I don't think you could find it anywhere else on the net because you have such GOOD lines that it's amazing. Plus you have the gift that few artist have. To make your drawing look alive WITHOUT words. Alive as in. You look at them and say. Okay, if they say something I don't have to take it as something one dimensional. I'm sure no one knows what I'm talking about but....yeah.

Your work is 3d all the way! No run of the mill for you ^_^ You new style is cool, I like the way you color. You don't over do it with shadows and that's good. Because some people use so much shading you wanna throw up.

To be honest, I don't think I was that bad starting out cartooning... maybe I'm not perfect that time (hey, I was still a 14 yr old kid who just learnt), but I keep trying harder to improve it. I've tried Illustrator a few times w/ varying degrees of success, so I stopped using it.

I stink a bit at lining though - my lines don't vary in widths, strokes etc and they're sorta hard and choppy (come to think of it, I like hard and choppy). I'm more into posting up pencil sketches as opposed to inking... it tends to give better depth.

I don't like coloring very much... it takes me forever to do it. I have no experience at all w/ the CGing, but I guess if I did all that shading, it'd looked over-detailed.

Heh, wait, that's hardly answering the comment... and um, er... your comment's a bit too flattering, but thanks anyways.

UH?!! WHAT?! Stop bashing yourself so much or I'm gonna HIT YOU!! I was probably having a critical day when I first read your comic! You have no right to be so harsh on yourself

So don't be hard on yourself, and NO I'm not being overly flattering, it's just how I feel. If I don't like your comic I'd come right out and say:

Lunar: Hey your comic it like...sucks. Get a better one

Some of us like that, it's their attitude. The rest of us think that, whatever they think of their comic, they should stand up for it. Then, there are those who actually do think all best of their comics (evil Jamie).
