Now I have to research Japanese lore...?!

Post by Armament Armed Arm »

At least I already know a fair amount about it...

Let's see...Tanuki...Incorrigible tricksters...Namtar wouldn't be the evil-god version of one, would he (well, a god of disease COULD be regarded as a kind of trickster, after all...)?

Heh... well, I don't think you have to worry about doing any heavy duty research on Japanese Mythology. While the various gods and spirits of different cultures do exist side by side in the Utukki universe, and may make an occasional cameo, we'll be focusing mainly on Mesopotamia. :D

Yes, just a random tidbit because Krista couldn't resist throwing in something from Japanese mythology, and I couldn't resist throwing in a give away 'Pon Poko' tribute. No surprise to those who know us. ^-^

Nothing too heavy. Promise.

On an almost unrelated note, I have a friend who normally follows the series and is a big Miyuzaki fan. I wanted to hear what she thought of the lastest couple of pages. Today I meant to ask her if she was up to date on 'Utukki' and instead asked her if she was up to date on 'Tanuki.' ^^;
