"But how is he on accents? I will *not* have my Satan with an American accent!"
Another suggestion is Georges Corraface, with a sort of Greco-French accent (apparently). Very nice in 1989...see!

He may be useful somewhere...if he still looks sort of like that.
Sorry, just my two cents worth - I'm trying to get out of studying for a psychology test.
Two games to play

books...
well, i think that satan would have two catagories of books, those he has due to his believer imperative, and those he actually likes. anyway:
Believer imperative:
the satanic bible (duh)
roleplaying books
wiccan ritual books
books about being gay
1001 ways to torture the damned
things he likes:
books about raising dragons
books about being gay
the complete works of shakespere (sp?) (hey, he's met the guy, and he needs it for draco)
all of anne mccaffreys books (for his other dragons)
anyway, hello peoples! i'm new to this forum, but i notice that alot of the other people here are comic artists. i happen to be one too. this comic is great. anyway, my comic is at http://mildcompetence.myrmid.com

Hey, it's one of those computer game comics!
Raising dragons, I like.
He must also have read Winnie the Pooh at some stage in order for him to make the comment about going off to discover the Pole.
And yes, I guess he would have had to have read the Satanic Bible, if only to be embarrassed by it. I'd better try and get hold of the dratted thing and read it myself.
"Shakespeare", though I don't think there was any consensus on how to spell it when he was actually alive.
But why roleplaying?
I've never roleplayed properly in my life - all the little numbers scare me away and I find those computer games mind-numbingly boring.

roleplaying
well, alot of people say (stupidly) that roleplaying is of the devil, is evil, ect. but they all have a screw loose. and you dont need dice or a computer to roleplay. example:
grogvak the pirate(played by john): well, i go to the captain and say "the ships gonna sink if'n we dont do somethin'!"
Gamemaster: the captain smacks grogvac and says "damned if i dont already know that! i told you to start repairin' the damamge in the hull so we dont sink. are ya gonna just sit there and end up as fishfood? get to it!"
grogvac: i go to the side of the ship, tie myself off, go down, and start repairing the hull
Gamemaster: as you just finish, a shark leaps from the water and tries to bite you. what do you do?
grogvac: i repel off the side of the boat to get away and draw my sword.
Gamemaster: the shark barely misses you, but you see another one about to leap.
grogvac: i get ready with my cutlass
Gamemaster: it jumps at you, aiming higher this time.
Grogvac: i swing at it and try to get out of the way.
gamemaster: you manage to whack it real good, left a big slash in its side, but it tore a chunk out of your leg. as it falls, you see the other shark start tearing into it.
you get the idea?
it can be done in a chatroom, on a forum (like this one) or in real life. its really quite fun.

grogvac:
wizards first rule: people are stupid
well, people have a problem mostly with the fact that in some fantasy roleplaying games your character worships gods not of the christian religion. this is mostly about D&D, which is a roleplaying system with set rules, mostly for people who feel that they need rules. here's something really funny about that. also, the fact that some creatures that exist in roleplaying games are demons and devils (mostly ones you fight, or more likely run the hell away from) and the fact that one can go to the nine hells or the abbyss and fight them. and then some other people invented rumors that people get really involved with their characters and commit suicide when their character dies. this is like killing yourself because your favorite character in a book died. it does not happen.
anyway, i think it'd be really cool to get a roleplaying section up on this forum. it would also attract other people to your site. only thing about forum play is that most people will write a paragraph at a time. you can play in a self made setting, or an already made setting. we could even play in this comics setting.

If you're inspired to, go ahead, though I don't know if there's a way of setting up subsections in this system.
You might be better off using the Ezboard forum, though the accursed thing's full of popup ads..
I was supposed to play in the Pewfell role-playing game, but I never really got started. Had neither the time or commitment, I suspect. Likewise here - I'm supposed to be expending my energy on writing and drawing a comic. That's what I do.
But if you have the time and enthusiasm to get a bunch of roleplayers roleing, full steam, I say.
