e. e. cummings Attacks!

It's not just you, I think it's Keenspot in general. I saw similar blurps of gobbledeygook in Untitled, 21st Century Fox and Schlock Mercenary as well.
Someone once told me, many years ago, what that was- As I vaguely recall, it was something about the system wasn't properly converting from it's "base language" into HEX, or something. The resulting HTML displays the thusly generated gunk as the boxes, or "unknown/undisplayable" characters. You see similar boxes when visiting Chinese or Japanese sites, if your browser doesn't have the requisite character files loaded.
Or something. I'm probably way off, but suffice to say it's something on the deep operating side of the server. Pay it no mind, I'm sure they're working on it. This forum itself was unavilable for a few days.

The gobbledygook was KS's "we are breaking things, please stand by" notice that was it self also broke. Metabusted, love itJimRob wrote:
I have no idea what any of the above means, or why yesterday's comic wasn't displaying properly. (Perhaps the page is rebelling at the messier-than-usual-because-tired artwork. Or, more prosaically, it's a side-effect of the KS server change.) But hopefully you can now view it in some fashion. Or just by clicking this.
This might also be helpful for those interested in Cynicism and barrels.

CYa!

Hee. I once wrote a poem attacking e e cummings in his own style (or a forced approximation thereof).
It was, perhaps, the best poem I've ever written. Sad.

The name "Xe...", aw heck, I'm not even gonna try to spell it.
Anyway, "Cheetotrees" is a strongly-Greek sounding name (I had an uncle with a similar name, though I'll be damned if I can remember how it was correctly pronounced- I think you had to deliberately sprain your tongue to say it right.)
That and his winter plumage evokes the albino referent.
Anyway, how do you know Bob isn't an albino? By definition of the term, he lacks skin pigmentation, y'know.
