The "two million dollars" thing is from the Clerks cartoon (see it).

The doomspot is a nerve center on either side of your body, about parallel to your bellybutton. Get someone else to poke it for you.

Well, I made up the name Doomspot, so its lack of usage in the UK is not surprising.

Yes there is, though apparently they just show the same couple shows over and over again.

I don't actually have it per se. My grandparents do (premium channels).
