I think the "no good can come of this" is more, this has just made our lives infinitely more complicated.

(I actually was totally surprised by that. I was following along in the first scan...then I hit the second half...blinked...several times...then nearly fell out of my chair giggling. --Giggling.-- )

Things ya didn't know: Xe, at least together with Keer, is somewhat bi. This has just made things MUCH more complex.

I'm more to file under "awww", though I'm quite concerned for Xe, Twap and Keer now too.
The triangle situation is quite difficult, someone could easily end up feeling hurt, might it now be Twap because she feels betrayed by Xe, or Keer because Xe's in love with Twap too, or Xe because he's caught in the middle between two persons he loves (and not to forget: <a href="http://untitled.keenspace.com/d/20020307.html">this</a> is still makeing me wonder too).
I'm afraid it'll lead to pain for the characters, what makes me feel very sorry for them...

Hope it's not wrong to get too emotionally concerned about a comic, eh?

Irony: A little while ago I posted a wallpaper on here set to "Bizarre Love Triangle" by New Order.

Yes, this has just gotten much more complex. But I think that link was more, Twap showing Keer that even though she kind of forced a choice on Xe, she doesn't have any hard feelings towards Keer... kind of a very direct and startling way of saying "We're still friends."

A very <i>very</i> direct and startling way then, heh.
In that case, I'd have expected then more a kiss on the cheek or similar, something with more symbolic character, while this one looks a lot more like an emotional reaction - well, excpacially Keers facial expression in the last panel.

But when you look at it, he and Twap are already fighting like an old couple.

so now, WHY was Xe so obsessed with twap? it seems utterly pointless now. and now it pretty much seems conclusive that Keer gave Xe the rose. yep yep.

Just when I thought all was edging back to normal... or what passes for normal for this bunch.

I was surprised, but it was a great surprise. You did a great job building the emotional tension, Gloria! And I know some people are going "eeww", but...Xe has a lot of feminine aspects to his character, so it's not really that disturbing. Come on, these guys were made for each other!! Twapa too, the three of them were. Seriously, though, through the whole strip, Xe's never had a real sexual identity-he switches back and forth, depending on whom he's with.

And I love the second panel of Monday's strip - you captured that moment perfectly. I laughed so hard I got a cramp. It reminded me....well, anyway, you captured it perfectly!

Gloria rocks!

Oh, and my "other dad" (our deacon) was over last week, helping me to resurrect my diseased and dying computer, and he saw Simon's adaptation of Xe and Twap hugging, the grey on black one. He thought it was really, really good. So there's another fan for the both of you!

Today's strip adds to the tension, although I'm kind of disappointed things didn't get to go anywhere. At least now we know where Twap wanted to stop, although still not WHY. It remains to be seen whether all will be revealed at this juncture. I kind of hope it isn't, as it seems like there could be a vastly amusing few weeks in this...

I found myself coming to that same conclusion several weeks ago...the only thing that tipped me off was the one strip where Keer says that it wasn't necessarily even a female, whoever gave him that rose. And now it makes that much more sense.

(One thing of note...remember when Xe and Keer were stuck in the blizzard, and were cuddled together on the couch? I think that was kind of Gloria giving us a hint.)

This one kind of threw me off. The one thing I think Gloria could have done to foreshadow this better would be to tell us where the airport was, ie, not in their hometown. (I've forgotten the names Gloria chose, sorry.)

As for what happens...this is gonna be interesting. If Twap finds out now, she'll probably kill Keer. If she doesn't find out now, much fun to be had watching Xe and Keer try to cover up extreme embarrasement and nervousness, while Twap is completely unaware.

I'm guessing Twap is here to tell Xe that she's going to be gone for a few days, while she tracks down the thieves who stole her laptop. Which can't be good (if Xe and Keer are left to their own devices).

Yeah. I think it's cute between Xe and Keer *pushes SuperBunny away from Keer* but Twap might not share the same thoughts.
