Hey! That cheetah in the last panel used to work at Nature Niche, I think, before it blew up!

And that lady on the right had better hurry up, she's late for her Far Side audition.

to plead guilty on Far Side influnce there!
(The catseye glasses, of course, a dead
giveaway!) But the feline to the left, I hadn't
meant any influence from the mighty Mr.
Arsenault's comic, though now that I go back
and check, there does seem to be! Holy carob...

Uhhh I don't want to be anatomically boring, but I don't think that would be a cheetah, the tear strip isn't there.

Leopard, then, whatever. I think I'm the only one who participates in the fandom who isn't overly concerned with exactness.

(Although the Cheetos mascot isn't really much of a cheetah, either.)

enlightening me to the fact (in your own
comic) that dogs (at least RL ones) don't
eat chocolate. ^_^

It's not really about exactness, it's about identity. A lion isn't a lion without a mane, a lynx isn't a lynx without the long ear fur, a black human isn't a black human without a black skin...
