You know, it was through Aido's Mini Fridge of Doom that I first encountered Mory's Education...
The little cat head on Berty-chan's shirt is cute...

I'm sorry, i'm awake when I should be sound asleep. Getting a kick out of everyone's superior artwork (not dissing Eto's, hers is pretty good too.)

I don't get this computer art thing. Anyone want to give me some pointers?

PS- Was Mordred calling out Mory's Friend's name or something and was silenced? What was he saying in the last strip?

I must say... though I find these artists' works great, I can't deny that I find the original look of the characters much more appealing... that is, the way Eto draws them. I mean, this latest one is TOO NamirDeiter and Aido's one... I'm probably just thick but it took me more time than it should have to actually recognize Mory's Friend, and though hands with fingers and Aido art is very captivating, I prefer Mory's Education in Eto style.

...I think you guys are crazy. oo; Please be nice, Bai, <a href="http://www.kawaiicomics.com" target=_blank>Izzy</a> is today's guest artist and she worked very hard to get this strip done, as did everyone else who is working on this. I personally find today's strip just too adorable and Aido's just beyond entertaining.

You guys are certainly welcome to your opinions, but my artist friends are vastly superiour to my own piddlings, as they should be; these guys are professionals, and this is just a hobby for me.

In response to questions, on Tuesday's strip Mordred is saying "Oro," which is kind of a sound affect of confusion; it's a thing from Rurouni Kenshin. And that's Kuronekosama from Trigun on Berty-chan's shirt. ^_^

I am so sorry if I affended you... don't get me wrong, I really like NamirDeiter. I admire your work, I really do. Aido's too. I understand that you're giving Eto a break from drawing the comics and that it can be hard work. Also, I understand that some of the things I said may (and apperently were) affensive... I really hope you forgive me and understand that I meant absolutely nothing bad about the artwork of any and all of the guest artists. I like the jokes made by both of you and am sure that the following guest works will be just as good.

Okay, I'm just gonna say this... I know you guys like Mory, (otherwise you wouldn't be here, right?), but you must realize I have the self esteem of a gnat. I love hearing you guys love Mory so much, and I really know you like it, honestly, but I'm kindly asking you not to compare my art to those of the guest artists, or any of my artist friends. Everyone I asked to particpate in the Fortnight I look up to with no end. To even try putting me in the same playing field as them, well it makes me very uncomfortable and unworthy. I know you mean the best, and I truly appreciate it, but please, e-mail me or something instead of putting it on the message board. I'm sorry if my complex doesn't make sense and it's just a bother, but just enjoy the wonderful guestart and we can all get along. Thank you.

Don't think Bai was out of line. Eto -did- create these characters, and she's really the only one who can thus draw them with the right flavor. Even though Aido and Izzy have done fantastic jobs.. I always find it interesting to see characters done in drastically different styles

I most definitely agree. I enjoy seeing other people's renditions of different characters too. It adds flair to the comic strip, and sometimes even adds a little more depth.

Now, don't go dissing the comic strip, it's got great characters, and your artwork doesn't suck, its just got a different style, and we all being artists, there's nothing wrong with that, now is there? ANd don't give me "i have a self esteem of a gnat" spiel now or else I'm going to have to do something to remedy that. And believe me, you don't want to see me trying to boost your self esteem when my own could use a lift (I tend to do crazy stuff when I speak like this)

Hey, you want me to do a guest artwork night? Since I don't do anime, I could do my own rendition of the stickman characters from Oct 23, hehe. That's my kind of artwork, now!

Alright, its late and I got to get up to play war games in the morning. Maybe if I'm lucky, they didn't sign out the Hummers to another unit so we can exercise them properly, and keep my drivers training up to speed *smiles evily*, but then again, I'm rambling now.

Not to offend anyone or anything, and correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the term "fan art" mean done by a fan in their own style, not the original artist's style?
I'm not saying anything bad about the original artist's work, or any of the guest artist's either. I'm just saying that no one should be saying anything bad about anyone's art, especially when the guest artist is doing this because they want to help out. They take the time to draw out of their free time (even when they don't have any), when they could be working on their own things. I know for a fact that Izzy has many many things to do, but she always goes out of her way to draw for other people, even when not asked to.
