(No one ever accused the Dodge Brothers of copying Ford did they?)

but, have you ever read No Outlet? While the artwork certainly doesn't compare, the level and type of humour, in certain ways, does. Yours seems to be on a more grand, societal scale, while his is, well, a bit smaller, focusing on minor absurdities such as, who in the heck would be thrilled to have a dedicaton to them in the front of an linear equations text book? and, lazily concieved world domination plots. But, both Tooth and CLaw, and No Outlet are comics, that deal with pointing out what most people don't consider.
I'm not pushing No Outlet, nor am I saying it's better,(I read his 1-2x a month, yours, every day) I just, find the style of humour to have similarities.
Speaking of comic strips, There is that inane little single circle strip in the papers they toss in randomly that no matter how hard you avoid it, your eyes read the whole strip in .0005 seconds anyways. I'm talking about the 'Love Is' comic. Now, I've been told that this is not a Pagan strip. How can it not be? C'mon! Naked people standing in a circle! How much more Pagan can one get?
~Cu Choigcriche
...I honestly have no idea why I'm posting any of this.
To forstall any anger, no, I'm not saying you're not origin

Hey, you were right. It is kind of similar, isn't it?
On leafing through the archives, I now think No Outlet is splendid, and I urge you all to go and read it. Especially in the new format, which works fantastically well, in a quietly observational kind of way. It generally makes me wonder why I find it necessary to construct insanely convoluted wild/tame analogies and have characters speak as if declaiming Brecht.
------------------

*smiles* Posting that, your comic strip reminds me of this one posting was, I'll admit a bit risky for not knowing your personality. Some people are Artistes(with, little accents that English keyboards don't allow.) and feel offended if someone says 'hey that painting is like ____'s'. Jackson Pollock was notorious for this, that's why his artwork is the way it is. Because, dammit, he was going to be original no matter what it took!(Picasso beat him to many of his, what he thought to be original, ideas.) My fiance's the same way too. I never, ever say that anything she does looks like anyone elses.

Aha! I have never read No Outlet in my life. (Thus, I succeed.) Although I probably will now. And deliberately steal large chunks from it.
Fun time-wasting activity: Can anyone name any other comics T&C bears suspicious resemblances to / has clearly stolen from?
(Don't even mention 'Love Is...'. It's terrible on too many levels.)
------------------
