The animation process may not be the most slick out there, but they're doing the best with what they can (I mean, c'mon, it is television). Overall, though, it's a great-looking show. Not the cookie-cutter sort of thing you normally see. I'm a sucker for shit that stylized.
------------------

It's by that dude who does Dexter's Lab, who's name i can't seem to remember. That guy loves to do sleek things with sort of pre-schoolish drawings. You either like it or don't, and I sure as hell do.
------------------

Samurai Jack premieres this Friday on the Cartoon Network. Anyone else looking forward to this thing? CN's original cartoons are usually a mixed-bag, but it seems like they're really investing a lot into this. And I gotta admit, it looks mighty cool... may even rival Batman: TAS in terms of art quality, at the very least.
Anyway, check it out: http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/jack/
------------------

If you think Cartoon Network is really pushing it, you should have seen the Con. They had Sammie Jack stuff out the ass there. We wanted to go see the preview of it, but we got distracted by something else. But yeah it looks like it's going to be cool, even if they did steal it from Frank Miller.
Back.....in the......saddle.........again
------------------

I wouldn't know, never heard of Samurai Jack. But if it is Ronin, Miller basically lifted most of the central ideas for Ronin from Lone Wolf and Cub and subsequently AKIRA anyay.
Nutz.

That Nazi lady's jacket was always opened. ...That is all I remember of Ronin. That and the crotchety old man. He reminded me of Sour Dough from "Riders in the Sky", back when CBS was almost ready to stop making cartoons.(early 90s)

Fuck. Damn work. I guess that's what I get for being responsible and going to into work to cover for someone instead of staying at home and watching TV. Though....I probably would have forgotten it was on anyways. I've been on a nice Rollercoaster Tycoon jag of late. It's sucking up all my free time leaving little space to remember TV shows. I needs me some TiVo or something. Ah, well hopefully it'll be on again.
foiled again,

Samurai jack kicked much ass man. Genndy Tartakovsky is a friggin genius. Fortunately, I caught the encore, but not the first airing because I was distracted with Diablo2. but I'll be damned if I was gonna miss that premiere.

I saw Jack on Sunday. It was pretty good. I kept thinking it was supposed to be serious, up until those zany dogs. So I was glad about that. Another thing that caught my attention though was the commercial for "Adult Swim". I hope that's good. But anything with Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, CAN'T be crap!

If only BasketFish was a cartoon. That...would be neat.

Ah thanks. It's one of mine. I was going through my backpack the other day and found that among my usual assortment of "zombies eating people" pictures. Well. There was also the New Poo Revue, but I won't get into that. Anyway, thanks again I suppose!
