Something I noticed...it seems that the stage seems to be a wooden platform better designed for a good old-fashioned western-style hanging than a good old-fashioned witch-burning. Now, my guess is that the pyre set up in the middle won't be lit (not with Jackie still tied to it at any rate), but if it did...well, they'd better have a good fire department at the ready.
It makes me think that these folks haven't done too many witch-burnings. Or that they've never gone camping. Or that they're none too bright. Or all three...

Nak

E, you truely have far to much time to think about burning people at the stake. the fact that that is what you think about during this free time comforts me though, so you are forgiven!
i LOVE it!
------------------

Let us burn one from end to end,
And pass it over to me my friend.
Burn it long, we'll burn it slow,
To light me up before I go.
If you don't like my fire, then don't come around,
'cause I'm gonna burn one down.
Yes, I'm gonna burn one down.
okay so maybe Burn One Down is a song about pot, and not burning witches; anyone know any good witch burning songs?
We Didn't Start The Fire,?
Hot Blooded?
I'm On Fire?
Burnin' For You?
Disco Inferno?

The Dannys aren't that bright. I was hoping someone would notice the platform.
------------------

"Light My Fire" maybe? Or "Open fire" "Burn Down the Mission" ? "Kumbya" is always a crowd pleaser because everyone knows the words ("kumbya", repeat until dead). Of course I've always preferred a good chant, but that's really just a matter of personal taste.
-Octapus "Pulsifer" E

Wooden platforms generally are more for hanging, they give a nice nostagic flavor to the proceedings. Wild old west and that kind of thing, but for a staking and burning one should really spring for the Witchbane3000. Stainles steel, grided pipe flooring on the platform to reduce weight and three EZ-grip claws to hold the stake, I hate when the stake gets loose. The best part is the metal supports the coals and insulates the heat so once your witch had died down a little you can roast hotdogs and marshmallows. It's fun for the whole family.

the title of the song that's from escapes me. I'm 97% sure it's Hole/Courtney Love...
freaky stuff, that.
------------------

For some reason when I hear burning, Johnny Cash comes to mind.
