well, things are getting really busy for me, and i was wondering what you, the reader, thought about me making a temporary(note: only temporary!!) change to 2 comics a week. i know thats not much, but they would be better drawn, and better thought out.
but if you think the last... oh, i don't know, 3 were any good. tell me, and whatever gets the most response(and my own final choice ) will be the way it is for a bit.
and then when school ends for the summer expect 3 really nice comics a week. maybe even a color sunday or two
other stuff:
how would you people feel about little quicky contests every once in awhile? trivia, art, crazeeness, whatever contests?
with cheap(a.k.a. free, cause they'd be pictures i draw at your request) prizes for the winner?

and finally, anyone here like chrono trigger?
good, ok keep your hands up if you like my comic too... ok we lost a few there
anyone want to see the RA cast in Chrono Trigger regalia that i drew a week ago?
just for fun?

well, what are you waiting for? POST A REPLY!

Hrmm...I think I could deal with only 2 a week.
The quicky contests sound good to me...(evil laughter as he works on plans to win said contests...what? I don't know what they are yet? So? something will work... )
Oh, and bring on the C.T. pic, please.
Ghostwolf out...(and the evil laughter continues)...
------------------
Vincent Suzukawa and Genecatlow may not be Gods, but they sure are darn close.

I think, when you are more happy with 2 comics a week, then do so.
And besides, I better like well-thought strips then when you would do it more sloppy because you're in a hurry.
Yup.
Lesser episodes a week wouldn't keep me from reading it, I also read others that appear just monthly (errr...that's now not a suggestion to draw your comic monthly! I need at least a weekly fix! )
To the contest-idea: I'd really like to take part, if you do one! Can I call someone? Or ask the audience? Or better, I buy an "E".

well, it seems unanamous(do i have any other fans? ) i'll be doing only 2 a week until i stop having hallucinations(and my nazi german teacher stops trying to make me look bad in class... luckily i'm pretty good at german, so i make a fool of him.)
you read a monthly comic... it wouldn't be Sabrina-Online would it? i love that comic(well, i DID put it on my links page ).
in no particular order heres some more stuff:
Chrono Trigger is a game that came out in 95(am i right? 96?) for the Super Nintendo. It is hailed as the best RPG ever by some(me, and thousands more) and maybe even the best SNES game ever.
anyway, the reason i drew the picture is that MY characters fit the game's characters(somewhat, you'll see what i mean )
lets see... contest, contest, contest...
you could still try and answer my contest from TCM forum(it doesn't stand anymore, but its the same question).
where is this quote from?
"What is it about the gates of hell, that compell people to wander into them?"
"it's Smuckers brand preserve!"
just to help you, here's another quote from the same episode, same show(oh, another hint! its a tv show)
"Pepperage Farm remembers! PEPPERAGE FARM REMEMBERS! oh, screw it, I'm outta here!"
anyone know? if not, i'll ask another question. the winner gets to request a picture to be drawn by me(preferably having to do with my comics characters, but anythings ok, it's YOUR request )
[This message has been edited by zillford-x (edited 04-05-2001).]

Ah, you dunno where I am from?
I assumed you know, cause I mentioned it several times on the CM board.
Plus, the fact I offered help in learning german could have been a hint...
I've been born and am still living in a town that happens to be the capital of a land that happens to be called Germany.

You can count the american movies or TV shows I actually saw in the original language at two hands.

Hey, TDS, where ARE you from? i shoulda thought about quoting american TV if my fans "aren't from around here". ummmm.... i guess this contest is still going but i'll need to think up something international... any suggestions TDS(seeing as you would know about cross continental things).
ok, the Chrono Trigger picture will be up as soon as i get out of school.

almost the weekend! time to make some comics!
also, i'm going to scan and post my "huge project" picture(it's taken me 4 days to draw it so far... still havn't finished the pencil stage :eek
finally:
anyone else a "consistant" fan? do you read this every other day(during the week)? or do you read it about every month? does anyone besides TDS and ghosty read this(or at least the forum as well.. )

Chrono Trigger? BOOYAKA!!! (/selphie)
Ahem. As far as the 2 vs. 3 thing goes, well, it's your call. I haven't seen any problem with the quality on the three-strips-a-week schedule, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.
As for contests, well, that's cool. I won't win any, to be sure, but that's still cool. Hmm. Current quote sounds like something out of "Whose Line Is It Anyway". Well, it's like I always say, if you don't know the answer, random guesses work just as well.
CJ

first off...
CJ, i'm SURE you can win at least ONE of my contest... some of them will be super easy(like, what animal is random?{unless you, like some people apparently, can't tell random from sami...{, or what color is the sky{on average }) and are only tests for "who checks my forum the most"
hehe, that goes for all of you! check here daily(ok, ok, i know, i'm mean... i'll only post CONTESTS on the same day as comics... which, (as if you didn't know) untill the end of school, are monday, friday(tho normally there is a wednesday, and will be in the summer) to make sure you can win these super easy contests... maybe i'll even warn you at the start of the week.
and TDS, i'm not very good at remembering things, so you must forgive me for forgeting that you come from the great land of Germany. its cool, 'cause i am taking german in school(again, as if you didn't know, from this thread)let's see if my learning is staying with me... you live in Bonn, right?
oh boy, maybe i'm an idiot though...
and, (did i ask you earlier?) how old are you?
or don't tell me, depending on how protective of personal info you are.
one final question for TDS,
how did you learn english so well? just curious.
okey day.. this is a big ol' ramblin' post
so heres the chrono trigger pic...

sorry about the pencil-ness of it, i didn't have the time to ink it(why do you think I'm dropping to 2 comics a week?) any questions or comments on it?

about the current contest...
oi, maybe i made it TOO obscure, but yeah, random guessing is a good method. no it's not from Who's Line, although i DO watch that show alot.
I'm sorry to my international readers, its kinda american(i think...)
I guess i'll give you all a hint, the show is no longer running, it was really funny, it featured a guy named TV's Frank...
to much of a hint? we'll see... tune in next time for more hints(if it isn't guessed...*shrug*)

and now to end my ramble:
has anyone checked out my links page?
ok, seen my other web page?
yeah, seen my art there?
still yeah? liked it?
if yes, then look back soon for a bunch more(soon being within a week).

I would have been happy to just pay that.
It cost me more the 2000 DM (rough guessed over 1000$).
Germany is one of the countries where you get a driving license the most difficult.

Nope, I'm not living in Bonn, I'm living in Berlin.
But don't worry, it's an excuseable mistake, Bonn was indeed once the capital of Germany, but that changed after the reunion in 1989.
Well, because I guess the chances of you being a stalker pretty slim :
I turned 19 last month (and I'm still not over it - where does all the time disappear to?).
I have english at school since 4th grade, but that just brought me the basics (This is Judy. Judy has a dog. The dog barks.).
What boosted my english skills into a level, that I could actually speak with english folks, was my discovery of a neat little thing called Internet.
English is pretty wide spread there, and so I got used to it.
I even read now some english books, what is pretty funny, cause it makes the books always seem more important (I could impress a friend of mine pretty much with reading some books from the Animorphs series).
I also started to actually listen to song lyrics (most of the people here don't get them, it's just about how catchy the tune is), what caused funny realisations.
*coughTheThongSongcough*

Okay, enough of my english-history.
I remember I found the pic on your other page once already, I recalled the background pic with Lola on the bib.jpg (I've been searching for a copy from the movie that time, that's why it got stuck in my mind).
Do you take criticism?
I think the tail on the shockwavewolf-pic looks more like the one of a fox.
But besides that it's kewl.
