Don't make fun of Minnesota! You know what they'd say about that.

According to my spellcheck Anytime isn't a word either. Not that I image that helps. Now the question is merely: "Why is Anybody and Everybody a word but not Anytime and Everytime." *shrug*

I still consider "Seen's" to be a word, its an abbrieviation of "Seeing as" i used to think existed when I was younger. So "lets go to the park seen's as its just across the road". I know that I'm essential saying "seeing as as" but it sounds better. Can't say as I use it any more though.

However, something that is the size of the dog is going to imply a different range than something being the size of a whale.

I didn't notice that New Jersey has an accent, and I've watched all of House.

I'm not really keen on southern accents, although I understand that USAians consider them classy and charmingly old-fashioned. If I had the most hated north american accent, it would probably be Georgian or something.

Only if they are a folksy southern lawyer, otherwise they're Bubba "you can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead fingers" Redneck.

I'm soooo angry :(

My boyfriend and I were supposed to go camping, we were supposed to leave today and spend two nights and my dad was being really nice and helpful and digging out all his camping cookware for us. I was REALLY looking forward to it because I never go anywhere or do anything.

But then last night my boyfriend started to not feel well. Which is a bad sign because he gets sick all the time and then when he gets sick he's sick for ages. I probably get sick just as often but it never lays me out like it does to him and I usually get better within a day or two. We figured we'd play it by ear and if he still was sick this morning we wouldn't go.

So got a text from him this morning, still sick and got worse. And I KNOW it's not his fault and he can't do anything about it but I'm so, so, so, so mad. And I don't know enough to go by myself (well, I know enough to know that I SHOULDN'T go by myself, anyway).

It's such a first world problem, I know, but there's been so much stupid shit happening lately and everyone in my family is dying and I just wanted to do something fun, just one time, just to say that I did.

I have to say, when I was in Nashville last year most everyone I encountered was very nice, really fit the Southern hospitality reputation.

Living room camping?

That sucks though. Not only do you not get to go camping you also have to not feel bad about not going camping because it's not his fault. If it was the weather you'd be fine 'cause you could just bitch about it.

Exactly! We actually were supposed to go two weeks ago, but the temperatures were so hot and humid that I didn't think it would be a good idea to go then (because I tend to overheat and dehydrate very easily). It would have been PERFECT this week in terms of weather.

Although... it kind of turned out to be for the best I didn't go, I guess. My uncle was diagnosed about a month ago with stage IV leukemia. He's had really strong chemo treatments but wasn't taking well. Last night he was in septic shock and they had him in an induced coma... today they did an MRI, revealing pneumonia as well as spots on the brain indicative of mini-strokes, in addition to the existing septicemia. They're uh, taking him off of the ventilator tonight so that he can go. So at least i was around to hear the news as it unfolded.

In the cake that makes up this shitty day, that obviously is the cake, with the icing being the camping thing. Every time the phone's rung today it's been bad news and then worse.

edit: We just got the call. He's gone.
