HA! (12-12-01)
Yeah, THIS is something along the lines of what I expected. I didn't think that Alisin would throw her relationship with Rikk away THAT easily.. Heh.. us poor, strong-willed women. End up attached to a guy we like to think that we own, but who actually owns our hearts lock, stock, and barrel. Alisin, Mrs. Oberf, and me. Just one more reason to hate Rikk.
-Wish
Good, because for a second there I thought we were talking about a FRIKKEN MASK!!!!!

Well, can't say I mind being wrong. Of course, there's still lots of room for theorizing about them getting discovered together by someone else who might jump to conclusions, and nearly twenty-four hours, at least, to theorize in!
So... Who's available to stumble on them? I doubt it'd be Will & Jackie, as they're busy in a seperate storyline. Kath's got no reason to be wandering around at night. Several people have wondered where Rikk and Tim were while Will was crashing the BO rush, so either of them are candidates. Tim, most likely, would simply enjoy the image and move on, and probably never tell anyone. I dunno about Rikk.
Thoughts?
Bushi
My main question concerning this is "What's wrong with a threesome?" Or, to put it more plainly, why immediately rule out a house of three? We're Fans, for Bog's sake. Making up our own social mores is part of the fun, after all.
Then again, who knows where this is leading? Rikk may well be the envy of the world, with two lovely women loving him, and him loving them back. Check out polyamory sometime. It might suit you fine.
Take care!
Awwww, they're so cuuuuuute!
Rumy's expression in the second to last panel is priceless!
It looks like they're about to engage in a drunken female bonding session, which could be good for them both.
Or it could still turn ugly. Really ugly. I hope not, but there's still the basic fact that Rumy's lovesick for Rick, and there's no telling how Alisin will deal with that.
I really don't see Rikk doing a threesome somehow. Maybe Alisin's joke was foreshadowing, but I think Mr. Episcopalian went far enough out on a limb by dating a goth.

One hurdle at a time. And given how big this one was, all I can say is YIPEE! I'm all for twistiness, but not twistiness that can be life-shattering.
I don't think anyone is going to stumble on them; that is too predictable for this comic. But there is no way that Alisin can avoid learning about Rumi's crush now, and that alone should be quite interesting . She says she's fine with a threesome, but I wonder if she might get jealous and possessive? She didn't want to share him before with Passus Chronos, so how is she going to deal with something this close to home? It will be interesting to see.
------------------

Welcome devlor! good insight into Alisin! I hadn't thought about how she dealt with PC when she found out about Rumy! I think that she'll be just as amused and maybe play a couple of tricks on Rikk and Rumy now that she knows. Like secretly arranging for them to be in rooms alone or some such things. She knows Rikk wouldn't do anything (plus he's oblivious) and she'd enjoy watching Rumy squirm a bit.
Thank you for fighting your instincts Schol, I for one am against newbie poking and am happy to see people avoid it here. Oh, and the alien's name is Big Red the Xenochiclet.
(Sorry to be nitpicky but I'm very proud/protective of the term Xenochicklet)
