"Bill Beaux of Hobbytown"? The pain, the pain!
Why "click here to continue" rather than in line, though?

I dunno, when I find another person named Melissa, which happens about every day, because I have a common name: out:. I get annoyed because when I here the name Melissa being called I turn around.

Didn't you mean, "William thinks the joke is a lot funnier than William thinks it is?"
...
Hell, I thought it was funny.
Because of my name - James - I tend to turn around when my rather common name is called; or Shane, or Jane, or...

You're "clicking here to continue" because a) I realized today's page was HUGE, even by FANS's liberal standards and b) cutting it in half wouldn't have given us a good closing line.

Wouldn't it have been even better (that is, worse) if Will had entered saying "'lo, Bill"?
------------------

Okay, I win the rocks-in-head award for this but...
I don't get it...
What's so funny about hello, Bill? I got all the LOTR references, which cracked me up, but I don't get why hello, or even "lo" Bill would be funny...
I'm sure I'll smack myself in the head after hearing why...
Jarnor23

Bill-William-Will.......see?
It's kind of like an old joke between friends. It shows that Will has been to this shop often enough for the owner, Mr. Beaux, to know his name and joke about it.
I think thast it's supposed to be funnier for the characters than the readers.
I know I have a few yucks when I meet someone named Tom.
------------------

Heck, I turn around if people say 'today'. Think about my name for a while and it'll come to you...(hint, it's in my fanfic thread, hint hint)
------------------
