I'm starting up a webcomic on keenspace, but I don't understand all that HTML crap they have. Is there anyone who can help me?
------------------

Heh, it's hard to help if you don't have any specific questions. Do you need help with the ***keentags*** and find the tutorial isn't enough? Or html in general?
Hmm.. Aeire wrote a nice keen tutorial thing with how to deal with the webpage- does anyone know where that is?
------------------
Eat The Roses is my manga-comic of sexiness!
KARN is that thing I do on saturdays...
and i have this art page too!!
But my signature will never be as long as Joe's.

well, i don't know what you've done already- but basically what you need to do are download from your workspace directory the indextemplate.html and dailytemplate.html. you might want save copies of the original files elsewhere in case you mess up. These pages are what will form most of your pages from the templates. bascially everything you essentially need is already one them- the advertisement tags, the ***todays_comics***, the next, previous, etc tags. and a link back to keenspace.
if you don't know how to write html, you can pretty much just do your comic and post it up with what's there. but it's ugly. ^^;; if you do know how to write html, write it around the existing tags, or create all new pages and stick in the tags.
I'm trying to be helpful, but i don't know if this is stuff you already know- if you have specific questions you can ask them here. and how about a link to your comic?
-meaghan
------------------

my comic will be sucky so I don't think you'll want to link it. I found a HTML book in my dad's bookshelf so I could probobly use that. Thanks for the help.
------------------

I know this is *slightly* late But thought I could chime in a bit, and suggest using a WYSWIG editor, like Dreamweaver for working on pages. Dreamweaver is non-invasive, so it won't muck up all the proprietary/special keentags, or java scripts, or anything else. And it's certainly easier than hand coding HTML
------------------
