Need Guest Comics!
Soooo....come February, I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling as I look for a job. This means I'm going to need guest strips for Real Life Fiction! =D I would, of course, pimp your site in return. If you're interested, you can mail them along with your url to redrobinarts (at) gmail.com. The only thing that I ask is that the comic be no wider than 650 pixels and that it not be too terribly offensive.
Re: Need Guest Comics!
I'd like to help, but I think your comic might be one of the hardest comics to do guest strips for out there. Not only is every strip a kind of carefully controlled chaos that is hard to mimic, you also draw way too well.

I'm with Terotrous with that one.
What about making a simple announcement that you're going away for a while and that production will be temporarily halted until you get back?

That's boring.
I definitely want to do a guest strip, but I can't 100% commit right now. I'll say 75% sure.

'cause that loses you readers. People stop reading and then forget to pick it up again. I know I've done that!peterabnny wrote:I'm with Terotrous with that one.

I repeat IV's sentiments. Difficulty of a comic only makes it more of a challenge.IVstudios wrote:That's boring.

I think I've heard of them! Aren't they the ones who work at your drawing desk late at night while you're sleeping and have new artwork ready for you in the morning?

Purple Cat
Nah, you're thinking of the one eyed, one horned, purple, pixie-winged cat of laziness. Bugger just lays around in the sunlight until the last possible moment.peterabnny wrote:I think I've heard of them! Re: Need Guest Comics!
well since I appeared in the comic, I feel almost debited to do a guest strip. We'll see what I can put together. And if your travels leads you to Los Angeles, you best not be a stranger.

That would be awesome! But while it's the same state...it's like 8 hours away.Phact0rri wrote:well since I appeared in the comic, I feel almost debited to do a guest strip. We'll see what I can put together. And if your travels leads you to Los Angeles, you best not be a stranger.

Oh, one or two pages per person so I can give everyone a chance would be great. No real guidelines, 'cept it would be nice for it to connect with the comic in some way. And, again, nothing horribly offensive. Widest width must be 650 pixels or under.
