I thought you were just sad that REM is breaking up.
It's the end of that band as we know it... studies show i am the threemillionth person to make that joke
Man, tv and print reports are treating an issue as if all died... one friend actually thought they did when he first heard a snippet of news report.

Yeah... I was told as much by other Americans who seem to think words can be scary... it gets old.

A ride on mower, which should be self explanatory.

A whipper snipper, which, apparently, you lot call a weed whacker even though it's used mainly for grass. I think whipper snipper is much more colourful and descriptive though. :)

Maybe you guys just don't have as many weeds as us.

My problem was I kept reading it as "whipper snapper" and I pictured you swinging a small child around, which considering your occupation and comic was possible though slightly out of character.

Seated mole-shredder and string trimmer. Unless it isn't the type that has string, but that seems weird if it's called a whipper snipper.

I got paid for some comics today (and by that I mean comics that I've drawn and sold at my LCS). The payout amount was just enough to cover the cost of Craig Thompson's Habibi, which comes out this Wednesday.

LIFE IS SWEET. :D

Mass cleaning and unpacking today! I unpacked from PAX and the field, put away a bunch of stuff that was accumulating on horizontal surfaces, did a bunch of laundry, reorganized parts of my wardrobe (even yanked a few things that I'm gonna donate to the thrift store), and generally got back into a groove.

I feel a LOT better having done all that!

I played the board game "Le donjon de Naheulbeuk" today! It was quite fun and unusual. I suggest for anyone who like to run around the table while wearing a card on your head!

Website's done in a "all my links now go places" kind of way. I am happy. Here me roar. Miaow!

Needs lots of work to make it actually cool but that can take time.

The thing I can't talk about that was a source of pain and stress is about to go away. Hopefully for good.

Today we walked the dogs to my in-laws. And then got free dinner.

Hard drive NOT crashed, merely an uppity USB port. So, my iTunes is all good to go! THANK GOD.

I've already begun considering sleeping in my office during all of October because of all the stuff I have to work on, so I needed a win.
