Comicgenesis in Spam Apocalypse?

Double post, don't care. Please remind me, who are the GD mods? Is this something beyond moderator powers, like do we need to light the admin signal and summon Kelly, Kisai, or Merc? I know Ryan is/was a mod, but he's never here anymore due to work. Where have all the cowboys gone?

Mods can't ban users, just do stuff with individual threads. The way we are instructed to deal with spam is to erase embedded urls and move spam to trash forum, and then page admins through moderator forum. I'm now at deleting all spam outright and trying my best to keep forums clean, but two days away on business and it's spamming like it's never been before. Admins aren't checking the forum so I'll mail Kelly right away and see if he can sort it out.

Mods should be made able to ban, and registration should probably be more restricted.

Cleaning up forums is pointless right now as there's a new thread every few minutes or so.
