Bought train tickets to/from the airport for leave. All that's missing is someone to drop me off/pick me up at the train station.

I've been updating. I just finished inking, coloring, lettering, and uploading the last of the pages I drew 5 years ago. I suppose that means this chapter has taken longer than 5 years and it's a little less than halfway through.
One reason I stopped drawing was that, even though I had one or two staunch supporters, I also got a lot of very bad reviews. The comic hasn't improved since then (obviously, since I'm using old drawings). But something about starting it again made me happy, much happier than starting a new comic or even starting this one over would have done.

I had a dream that I was in a commercial with Hulk Hogan for Kraft Spaghetti & Meatballs (not real). We high-fived in the end.

This "Awedetorium" app for iPad is pretty damn cool. Lots and LOTS of independent artists, all linked together with pictures and info about complete songs and it's like a giant uber sampler platter. I was never a "music" person, but slowly bit by bit I am beginning to understand how people can become total indie hipster snobs about this kind of thing.
Personally, I just think that I need a lot of money so I can buy this indie stuff alongside the more commercial stuff because I like it all.

are they bands on mid-teir sort of labels, are are they true independent artists self releasing?
I wonder if it'd be a good idea to look into this as far as music promotion goes. I wonder how well it'll do in terms of actually selling music. Guess we'll have to wait to see.

Both. Some are tied to lesser known labels or do self releasing or got started that way.
