That's a bug. Let me know your comic's username or URL, and I'll fix it in AG.

revolutionbaby.comicgenesis.com. Cheers!
Run the update again, it's fixed. First official bug post-switch fixed.

Artist/Writer, Stalag '99 (WolfSkunks and Drygers, oh my!) I NEED MORE TIME, CAPTIN!
I've been trying to run manual regular updates all day, first through SiteAdmin and then through QuickAdmin. (Site is hellsing.comicgenesis.com.) Periodically they vanish from the queue, but the site is still on Wednesday's comic, which means we're behind three updates and counting.
The last update was twenty minutes ago through QuickAdmin. No results yet.
I tried running a regular update when the queue was at 0. It got all the way up to 10 where it stayed there for half an hour to an hour. It's now back at 0 and my comic (fergoandenrique.comicgenesis.com) still hasn't updated.
My comic strip still hasn't updated for four or so days, so I don't know if the issue has been sufficiently resolved yet... the strips are sitting in their proper folder, ready to go... Tried doing a regular update and nothing happened. Did a full update when the queue was low in the middle of the hour... nothing.
Bobadventures wrote:Hi, my name is Jim Cleaveland, and my comic is also showing "The Inexplicable Adventures of Bob! by ARRAY(0xd130b0)" so I've got the same bug.
My comic updated just fine on Saturday morning, btw. So iIs everything going to be okay?
You're displaying your name with the ***author*** tag, I take it? That should be fairly easy to fix; just forgo the use of the tag and add your name manually. All you will require is this simple bit of HTML code:
It's not updating on the homepage, but my latest comic did upload and is available via the Archives section, although my author title says, "by ARRAY(0xd130b0)" Really scratching my head over this one.
Username is roblopez.
Thanks.
Starring The Vampire Azzi & Captain Sera Besh. Updates Mon and Thurs.
I don't have access to siteadmin, so I did a manual update by deleting the file in my workspace folder and re-uploading it into my public folder. Hopefully it'll work, but I don't want to have to update that way every single time a page is due...
My webcomic, Frontier: 2170 (updating daily until Stage 02, then every Tuesday and Friday).
So yeah, add me to the list of people whose comics haven't updated, who's tried everything in the thread so far, etc. It's weird, my comic appears in public_html but the main page hasn't updated. I haven't had success running through SiteAdmin or QuickAdmin.
Stretch Longfellow wrote:What are those of us why have joined within the last year supposed to do? I still don't have access to the Site Admin page, so the only way I can update is waiting for the usual update time, which apparently is not working.
You can trigger an update through Quickadmin. I'm trying to find the time to rip-out Siteadmin and replace it with something a bit more sane. I'm also looking into OpenID, making everyone who has a comic able to use it as an ID to log into other places. If you have a Yubikey we may offer the ability of having you use that to log into Siteadmin. All research.
Nope, can't access Quickadmin either. Tried both this account (my primary) and the Stretch Longfellow one (was accidentally logged into that one earlier for some reason; I never use it). Comic site is spoofyrandomness.comicgenesis.com
I've had to manually update since the 19th but today it won't update at all. I've tried site admin and quick admin. no dice. when I trigger an update it just stays in the queue. I tried it twice and it still doesn't move. my comic is in the workspace folder with the right date. I'm not sure what more to try.
Having the same issue. It says the update goes through the queue, but nothing changes and the actual update date stays the same as it was (which was 5/17). Was just checking on the forums to see what was up, but it seems that it's a common issue. I suppose that's good to know..?
