I change styles like I change underpants (Versatility is extremely important if you want to be an animator, and quite frankly I want to have 3 or 4 defined cartoon styles, plus a comic book style ala Capullo/Turner), and been using a tablet for 3 weeks now and I'm not used to it. All my linework has been done in Photoshop which won't give me the same kind of results that Flash gives me. I haven't decided which I prefer for lineart because I haven't worked with Photoshop or my tablet long enough.

Mvmarcz wrote:"Style" is not a valid argument.
Nor is it mine. My argument is "I'm right because I physically demonstrated the pose is possible"
Mvmarcz wrote:Anyone who had ANY schooling of any form for any art has had at least 15 minutes of life drawing.
Like me and my girlfriend did when we were in art college (Okay, okay, I quit it after a semester because I think most artists are autistic faggots, but she finished the full course). And like I did again this year when I began a class in animation. And like the pretty pictures I take with my digital camera. And where were we? Oh yeah! We were right about at the part where the camera pans to show your foot in your mouth.
Mvmarcz wrote:If you don't want the crit don't post it on an art related forum.
But I never said I didn't want a crit (I have to deal with a teacher's criticism after all). In this case the criticism is just weaksauce, and seemed more like Robin wanted something to bitch about and that Komi is being a feminazi because she hates all SEXY SEXY ALL WOMAN MUST BE CONSTANTLY SEXY
Like I said, I'd believe you guys more were it not for the fact I physically proved the plausibility of the pose. Anyone complains after that is just complaining for the same of complaining.
Mvmarcz wrote:not bitching about one persons inflexibility
It's more than one person with inflexibility problems if none of you are able to reproduce to pose :P
*zing!*
Mvmarcz wrote:You aren't so much a douche as you are someone who doesn't take constructive crit gracefully.
Actually I'm a douche who doesn't take people will weaker senses of anatomy and dynamic position seriously.

Okay okay, I just love starting fights for no apparent reason. Two pages already! Two! Of people trying to tell me I'm wrong when I say "I can physically prove I'm right" - and I'm supposed to be the thickheaded one?
What did Bob's rhyme about 99 Keenspacers say about me again?
"Rouses up the status quo" was it?

Yeah, speaking of 4chan, I made this little 4koma recently. If you don't get the joke, that character is Meido-san, /jp/'s Janitor.

Van I never said your picture was wrong or that you haven't had anatomy practice.

Aside from my first comment and in a way that comment too my remarks were sort of directed at everyone.

I personally like your style and don't really care if a leg is a little off, I'm just sick of coming to this thread looking for art from a group of people I enjoy and seeing that it's more back and forth over something that really doesn't merit this heated of a discussion all because someone wants to have the last word.

P.S. There's nothing wrong with art school :P

huzzah, scanner hooked up and (mostly) functional.
For some reason its interface looks like something out of windows 95, but oh well.

Horribly botched sketch of Del's mutated hand, complete with hardened fingertips, merged fingers, and webbing. Dude likes to dig.

I was just passing through while e-stalking RPin and oh my God when did he come back? Holy crap. I thought he died. Alex & Ilia hasn't updated in like, ever. It's almost bad as me. Also RPin - you are surprisingly difficult to e-stalk I give you that.

Now I'll just be on my way out

I keep wondering if he keeps notes on how long it takes him to go from civil to troll every time he comes back.

LOL nice take on the baju melayu, Lag.

And what's this... you're done e-stalking me now so you're aiming for Pin? ;)

Just kidding, but do drop by for another drink next time, I'll bring you to a nicer watering hole than the one we went to. I just discovered this new place where then play jazz and spin fire...
