Hi,
I started the following discussion in this thread and one of the users suggested me to bring it here.
I'd like to know if there is a way of having the images for my comics appear in my rss feed (instead of only a link, as it curently happens). RSS feeds are growing more popular each day , to the point that some people only follow blogs/comics that can be read through their feed readers. I believe this has already been discussed here some time ago (I think I even posted about it myself in the past, but I couldn't find it through the search), but I'd like to know if anything changed on the subject. I don't think CG's users would have a problem in having an ad/banner below the comic on the feed, in order to compensate for the increase in bandwidth usage. Any info, ideias, comments?
People put Feature requests on the help Forum, but we don't get to many of them. I suppose i'm mostly just shocked someone would tell you to put this on this forum. If it was your idea, I could see the mishap. but most regulars I'd imagine wouldn't guide someone to put the thread here.
It is hard to figure out the grey areas and where to put stuff when you start out, specially things that aren't obviously described. But after a while the method to our madness does become pretty understandable.. you know with the coming insanity and all.
<KittyKatBlack> You look deranged. But I mean that in the nicest way possible. ^_^;
I can't make it work. I tested the .jpg URL and the link URL seperately, and they're fine. And I can use an <item> with text and the text shows up. But with <image> - nothing.
Here is the code I'm using. Can someone take a look and tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm really green at this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<rss version="2.0">
