the cloak of necromancy wont work unless you email some peeps. this forum is fully archived now, and wont send out messages automatically, until people re log every 10 days.

otherwise, they are classified inactive accounts

And I'm a necrophile!...hrm...ok sure let's go with that.

Post by MavvTheThief »

Soo...wait...does that mean I can't post anymore? Or like if I did post would the people get pissed off that I'm posting to a dead forum?

I sure hope I don't get the board chunked.

You can post, but generally speaking a reminder would not go out to archived accounts. At least that was my understanding from a long time ago, but seeing I had just received a message saying someone had posted here, thats a totally moot point...

I kinda' miss chatting with people. Gawd, I'm such a recluse

Post by MavvTheThief »

Aaah. That's soo true. Hey are you keeping in touch with anybody? It'd be nice if some people were still in touch. I pretty much disappeared from the internet entirely so I haven't talked to like anybody since forever!

Seriously...same life I've been living since then.

Post by MavvTheThief »

Awww! I kinda envy you guys! But that's awesome! If not in whole than at least in part this place is still alive out there! I'd probably try to contact everybody myself but chances are I'll only chat briefly than disappear all over again. Since I'm still kinda in reclusion. If I had a life I'd probably have a reason to socialize. XP

Never too late to start socialising.

Why would you disappear anyway?

Online comics, short stories, deviant searching, porn...

Post by MavvTheThief »

Eh? Well its not that I'd want to. Its just who I am it seems. I do that. I usually dedicate myself to one kind of activity and then I either get bored with it...or something else strikes my interest...or whatever and I move on and ditch whatever it was I doing before. But then I end up coming back to it again waaay later and doing everything all over again. So its like I'll play games...get bored (sometimes in the middle of a game) then I'll watch movies and anime...and get bored (sometimes in the middle of a series) then I'll download music...and again (same shit) and then I'll browse the internet for things...

Like before I had started to watch Evangelion but then stopped half way through and I moved onto comics (Rosario+Vampire) then I was playing video games Zelda Twilight Princess (finished) moved on to Kingdom Hearts I (cheated my way through) then Grandia II then Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and now I mean to play Kingdom Hearts II but I got caught up watching Ouran High School Host Club (finished) on ANN and now its Naruto...so if I started chatting it'd be like I just stopped watching Naruto and moved onto this...but then somewhere down the line it'd be something else.

Wait...they have a name for this...its not ADD...frivolous? Hmmm...

Kingdom Hearts was a cool game. Bought the sequel, still in its wrapper. Somehow the magic was lost at the end of the first one, but I bought it anyway because its a SquareEnix game, and they are cool.

Dirge of Cerberus and FFXII just to name a few...

Post by MavvTheThief »

 Lawl! Same here! Well I mean its opened...now. Because I was meaning to play it. But mine was still wrapped up until a few days ago. I was like; "You know, I'm going to play this just to say I finally played it!" Gosh...I have a couple other games still wrapped up too.

Hehe, I recently got the Sega Mega Drive Gaming compilation for PS2...so many memories jammed into those games. Time to bust out the 'happy' pants, sit in a bean bag and camp in front of the TV for a few hours. Nostaligic now -wipes happy gaming memory tears away-

I can't remember if I ever got to play Sonic or not.

Post by MavvTheThief »

Eh? You can play old sega games on the PS2? Really? Cool! I never got to play any sega games though. Which is sad 'cause I always wanted to play Nights into Dreams.

Yeah it is a compilation disc SEGA bought out. You can get all the Sonic games on one CD too. Not sure if Nights into Dreams is in that compilation though, but you can get many of these games for your computer too. ROMnation.com has tonnes of them!

Ooh...ROMnation...I need to revisit that site one of these d

Post by MavvTheThief »

Lol. I just wikipedia'd Night into Dreams and apparently they made a remake for it on the PS2, even gave an enhanced and original option for it, but decided not export it. x.x I really should get back onto Rosetta Stone and learning Japanese already. Then I wouldn't have to worry about region restrictions. -.-

Good thing I downloaded it from...ROMhustler?...I think. Now I just need a good emulator. XD

ROMnation has Emulators too, check out their Emulator section and pick the ones you want, download and extract the files and wallah! Gaming heaven.

Ahh...PC98 emulators...why must you be so hit and miss...

Post by MavvTheThief »

I've always been a little...eeh...when it came to downloading sega games simply because I'm not sure if their emulators are any good. Zsnes was soo good and easy to use I got alittle overwhelmed when I tried to use Epsxe so I'm not sure if Sega emulators are more like Zsnes stable or if they are difficult and tricky to use like PSX emulators. Do you know? And what would you recommend if you do?
