Yeah, you are right. That was a pretty stupid comment. I associated with a blog entry that described just that. A guy was both really weird and had really dangerous hobbies but was at the same time mortally afraid that his parents would find out he was bi. This whole situation perplexed the hell out of a swedish girl who identified it as 'american'. Of course, that was just a blog entry and not a cultural indicator or nothing.

Oh, I wasn't saying it was a stupid comment, I was saying it was true. Although I dunno if that's a strictly American thing or not.

I've noticed that some artists deal with the hat problem by drawing a very undersized hat which seems to sit snugly on the forehead defying the law of gravity.

John Robey(The Suburban Jungle) somehow makes his hat-wearing anthros look natural with a more convincingly proportioned hat.

Slightly off-subject--when someone asks how my sunglasses stay on my avatar pic, I just tell them it's a pince nez.
