Spore Pedobear. (Not really NSFW, but very very wrong nevertheless.)

I doubt I'll be able to look at the game with a straight face again.

I tried it, and was briefly amused. I realized that Spore is not going to be the game I was hoping for.

Me and my friend talked about it; we both wanted the ability to induce mutations on creatures by making alterations to the environment. Want them to have stronger teeth? Put food that is in a tough shell. Alter running speed? Create some natural predators. I may be asking for too much, but it would have been rad.

Looks like predator-prey relationships won't be there as well. The creatures will most probably just prey on each other, relying on the speed/strike statistics to determine who wins. So all fight, no flight mechanisms.

Oh well. Still looks fun.
