Sorry to interrupt, but here's a teaser of photos from my commissioning. Waiting for the DVD collection from my mom and brother's cameras before putting up the whole thing.

Image

On the left is Lieutenant General (yes, a 3 star GENERAL) Peterson and on the right is Lieutenant Colonel Rideout, my instructor. In the center is 2nd Lieutenant Freed. Me. :D

My first salute from my best friend, PFC Rathaus. He's a good man, and getting promoted back to Specialist soon.

Well I haven't seen you in a while so both could be true.
For all I know that was a stock photo.

Despite having a comic for two years, I'm still pretty new 'round these parts.
Let's be friends.

Dark Claw. such a weird decision to amalgamate Batman and Wolverine...

...Such a weirder decision to dress up like him.

Yeah, man. That's what I thought. The claws flew out and everything, very elaborate.
Turns out, guy had a whole booth of just weird costumes.

Take, for instance, Captain Ohio:

Captain Ohio would make for a great parody, imo. Mostly 'cause people would be saying, "But...what does that even entail?"

I imagine one of his duties would involve protecting Cedar Point from our enemies.

It is, after all, the roller coaster capital of the world.

Where would we be with it in the hands of our enemies?

More from that guy, you can see his booth in the top left corner, notice the MIGHTY SHIELD OF OHIO.

Note: The Ghostbuster guy is unrelated, he made that stuff himself. It had all sorts of fun lights and meters.

Star Wars versus Ghostbusters baby!
...Hm. May not be that exciting.

The good thing about Ghostbusters is that anyone can get away with it because...

a) It's a uniform more than is it a character or characters, and...

b) The actors were out of shape anyway so it won't matter if you are too. You have to be the right shape for most other cosplaying.
