Ugh... folks, I must call off the bashing me over the head with foam event.

This one's medical, alas. I had an accident today involving reconstructing office furnature (with drill-gun in hand) and ended up having 7 staples put in my head.

Not good. Tomorrow, I have to go back into Baltimore to get the staples checked on, on my way to Balticon. Then I'll know when I can get 'em removed (they say a week, but tomorrow will tell).

I'm not going to risk another trip to a hospital or urgent care facility, because somebody thought foam with duck tape wrapped around it would be OK. IT'S NOT. The 7 staples are there because I WAS bleeding. I don't want it opened back up again, so it's off.

What's the weather forecast for this weekend?

Hot and muggy with a 100% chance of awesome. There will be a hawt front coming in from the West Coast, and a general absence of badassery that typically comes in from across the Canadian border. Some coolness typically found only in Europe will be present, so make the most of it.

Actually I'm seeing thunderstorms on weather.com so it looks like I'll be packing a rain jacket. Regardless of the weather, I'll still be doing my early morning wake up and workout on Friday.

TVs came in today. 2 32-inch flat panels with buckets of connections.

I relent on the Wii issue, with one proviso - no Wii games like Wii bowling where the whole point is to move the controller at the TV.

And if you break one of the TVs, I force-feed you uranium. Don't test me on this. Your anatomy will accomodate.
