No, actually, it's not...

A Caption is a title or line of dialogue/text about an image or a scene in a movie. I'm not really sure what you're asking for by captions...

I just have a folder called 'captions' and decided to make this thread
so...

all that having been said, and as mind-munbingly confusing as your op was, I'd like to go on the record as saying that I'd totally support a Senate bill to legally change the term "image macro" (verp!) to "captions", or perhaps "helen shapiro".
