He's sneaky like that.
He did it earlier to trash-talk birdie and Ludwig, too. I'd change my password to keep it from happening, but meh. That involves pressing extra buttons and thinking up a new alphanumeric sequence and stuff.

Besides, I trust he won't do anything too malicious with my account. He has an honest face.

Round 1 (Sequence 2) - Match 18 - Rickford (1/0) vs. Fusion (0/1)

1 - Rickford crawls out of the southern arena door and onto the floor. He pukes his guts out. A close-up of the bottle in his hand shows it to be clear and unlabelled.

{ABOL} Is that moonshine?
{Net} Probably.

Fusion also walks out of the southern arena door, looks around a bit, and sees a clear opportunity... The audience cheers as her tentacles snake out towards Rickford.

2 - Fusion wraps a tentacle around Rickford and tosses him into the nearby arena wall! He crashes into it with a sickening thud, taking 7 damage! The impact breaks the pipe on the nearby water release, and water starts to gush onto the arena floor.

{Net} *pushes buttons to try to stop the water flow*

3 - Rickford staggers to his feet and runs from Fusion. Fusion grabs Rickford with her tentacles again and draws him close, squeezing him for 5 damage!

4 - Fusion squeezes even harder with her tentacles, crushing Rickford for 3 damage and making him unable to breathe. Rickford panics and grabs ahold of Fusion himself, running her towards the arena wall when it's apparent he can't crush her himself.

5 - Rickford smashes Fusion into the arena wall, critically shoving her back right into the broken water pipe! Fusion screams and takes a tremendous 16 damage!

6 - Fusion tries to pull herself off the pipe, but cannot. To contain the water coming out of the pipe, she starts to shape-shift, forming a bubble around the water. Rickford grins lopsidedly.

7 - Rickford shoves Fusion against the pipe again, and the broken pipe shoves through the surface of the bubble, popping it and effectively ripping a giant hole in Fusion. Water and blood gushes everywhere amidst 13 damage, and Fusion is dead.

Winner: Rickford! Rickford glows, is healed, gains a stat point, and is the first contestant guaranteed to be in the next round!

Loser: Fusion. Fusion's corpse falls off the broken pipe as Net manages to shut down the water. A trained and licensed Ogre plummer walks onto the field to survey the damage. He shakes his large head and writes up a work order. Then presents the work order to himself. He takes his mandated lunch break, and then quickly patches up the pipe. He also patches up Fusion with some organic tape that quickly absorbs into her corpse, healing her completely. He shakes her awake, and then walks off the field, leaving a bill for services rendered.

Fusion staggers off the field herself, not looking at all well.

{ABOL} Wow, that was a heck of an event. Remember folks, we will still see Fusion one more time when she tries to take the chance for a stat point away from one of the other contestants in Round 1 - Sequence 3. Let's give her a big round of applause.

*The crowd applauds*

{ABOL} Also, as our first eliminated contestant, she wins a year's worth of free milkshakes courtesy of our arena staff. And of course, as a Round 1 eliminated contestant, gets a free pass for premiere box seating for the remainder of the event.

The delay is just my bad -

Big project at school, preparing for jury duty (meaning I'm training someone all day at work) and just exhaustion. I haven't been online much during the evening because I've been trying to catch up on sleep.

I have the status of everything this thread is NOT dying. It may be a few days before the updates continue, but they will continue. I guaran-damn-tee it. :)
