Re: Doodles 10 - Cutting a Double Figure
I haven't drawn in months, or at least I haven't drawn on paper in months. So brain kinda went "wut?", needless to say, I wasn't drawing very well.
This is basically something random, unfinished (unlikely to finish.) Generic anime-inspired stuff, no reference, drawn on paper then redrawn in flash using only the object select and line tool. Original pencil drawing had arms and hands in different places.

Re: Kisai,
The doodle actually isn't as bad as you try to make it seem, but I think thicker lines would really help something cartoony like this. Similar drawings would probably exaggerate line width, even.

Random Sketchbook page. Drew myself as a Doom Bee.

And here's a creature I had to think up for my 3D modeling class. I haven't given it a real name yet, so I call it BirdBat. It eats babies.

Re: Doodles 10 - Cutting a Double Figure
I had this thought, there are several classes of things that often appeared in my comics and I searched for references for all of them because I couldn't draw them properly. I drew them to test if I learned how to draw them through all that.

Actually, it would be more Renoir's painting of bathers that is the inspiration for this style.
