I almost got a job!
They asked for someone to do sound stuff on a movie, and since I actually have experience in that kind of stuff, I was the only one who said "I'll do it"

This of course is important for me : It'd be my first out of school project, and paid, and a credit for my CV.

As the guys were leaving the classroom, apparently my roomate went, mudlinged against me "He doesnt know shit, dont use him" (For the record, he's never so much as held a boom mic, not to mention used equalizers or done post-prod), and even though he didnt volunteer when they asked...

Overall, not a very good weekend. Very blah.

Overslept and showed up late to my class on Friday, which wouldn't be so bad except that it's an afternoon class, and that subsequently threw me off for the rest of the weekend.

Won me a prize at my gaming tournament, although a) it's a piece I don't particularly care about, b) it's a piece I'm not likely to ever use, and c) it came at the sort-of expense of someone who really did want it. And I didn't technically win it, either. So it's kind of a hollow victory.

Ended up wasting most of the weekend playing Twilight Princess rather than doing any work, school or comic-wise.

Plus, the unfulfilled promises of Arena Battles.

At least I'm looking to be so busy this week that I won't have time to be depressed about not having a Valentine this year.

I feel bad about this - I ended up sleeping through the entire weekend trying to get rid of the last of this cold. It's hung on like chewing gum to a shoe.

It seems I built up a tolerance to these new sleepin' pills waay too quick. That, and the vent(s) in my room are making a ridiculous amount of noise! I think I crammed markers in my ears last night in desparation.

Edit: And then, now that I have to be up, I find out how to kill the noise.

No fever. No real outward "I'm Sick!" symptoms at all.

The fatigue is still here. Every inch of my body is sore, and I have no idea why that is. Just putting shoes on is an ordeal. I think my work may be poisoning me.

My class project is behind, so now I am interviewing the customer today and possibly Friday, meeting with the group friday, saturday, and sunday, to deliver a 30 page ISP and RFP and a 20 minute presentation on Tuesday.

Dang it. I got sick and the team just didn't do anything.
