Well, that is if you call the html text its unmentionables.
So, I first tried the generator and replaced the index and daily templates like they said, but then went on to place the css incorrectly. My site started showing off the html text along with the ad and my original comic. Since then, I've managed to put everything I could back in place (and have made backups of the templates), but it's not exactly fixed.
Okay, here's a link so you can either get a visual idea of what's wrong or tell me I'm delusional:

Ughh... still not working... I tried directly copying the original html (from the FAQ II) into textedit instead of word. Is there any way to get some sort of automated reset? Or... something?
Moreover, is there something I'm missing, or do my only writing programs not work? Is there one that for sure works for mac and I can download? Or am I saving them wrong, since in the generator tutorial you're supposed to save them as "all files" worthy, and I've been saving mine as html (since no all file function existed)?

Textedit works differently. To save HTML from TextEdit, you have to do this:
1) Once you have the HTML in TextEdit, go to Format > Make Plain Text.
2) When you save the file, be sure to type .html at the end of the filename.
3) TextEdit will ask you if you're sure that you want to use .html instead of .txt - you want to use .html.
