Take a science quiz!

Post by Rkolter »

So, how much really basic science do you know? Take the quiz! (it's only 26 questions and is very quick):

Careful, a couple are very tricky questions.

I missed #7 (whaaaaaaaat) and #18 (a damn shame since my first guess had actually been the right one).

76 percent, Grade: C.
Could've done better - I claim I didn't pay sufficient attention to some of the questions (or rather, the answers) and English Is Not My First Language.

92%. There were some tricky ones in there. A few that I would not expect kids to know (or need to know, really). It's interesting seeing what America thinks is important science for kids to know and how it differs from over here.

But to be fair, this is just a quiz on the Internet. It doesn't necessarily have any resemblance to any real school science curriculum.

Then again, I might just be bitter because I got a B. (Stupid tricky questions.)

Well, yeah, then there's that, eh?

Glad I only have to sit through half an hour of Religious Education with the kids each week now...

Ugh, I had to take it every day from Kindergarten up into the first year of Senior School (Then I went to an American Highschool \o/)

It drove me nuts.

80% whee!

Which is actually better than I had expected to get - science has never been my strongest subject, nor the one I was really interested in.
Apparently I paid attention in class without knowing it.

Seemed pretty spot on to me. Granted, eighth grade was about fifteen years ago for me, but still.

96%.

I didn't like that some of the answers were too simple. Like, with the asexual reproduction one. There have to be mutation sometimes. :(

Edit:

Same here, and 8th grade was more like 7 years ago for me.

You should find a French science quiz and make the rest of us take it.
