Take a science quiz!
So, how much really basic science do you know? Take the quiz! (it's only 26 questions and is very quick):

Careful, a couple are very tricky questions.

92%. There were some tricky ones in there. A few that I would not expect kids to know (or need to know, really). It's interesting seeing what America thinks is important science for kids to know and how it differs from over here.

But to be fair, this is just a quiz on the Internet. It doesn't necessarily have any resemblance to any real school science curriculum.
Then again, I might just be bitter because I got a B. (Stupid tricky questions.)

Seemed pretty spot on to me. Granted, eighth grade was about fifteen years ago for me, but still.Tim wrote:But to be fair, this is just a quiz on the Internet. It doesn't necessarily have any resemblance to any real school science curriculum.

96%.
I didn't like that some of the answers were too simple. Like, with the asexual reproduction one. There have to be mutation sometimes.
Edit:

Same here, and 8th grade was more like 7 years ago for me.Jim North wrote:Seemed pretty spot on to me.
