Ah, the Zombie Survival Guide. Made even more hilarious by the fact that yesterday I had randomly chosen to wear my "zombies are scary" shirt, and couldn't figure out why Dad thought this was so funny... until this morning.
My brother's girlfriend brought her cat over when she came to visit. My dog didn't care at all (old fart)... my cat freaked and hid.
Among other things (clothes, a couple books, candy, bath stuff, etc) I received a large glass Snakes & Ladders shot glass game. For drinking.
I have got to meet the genius who decided making drinking games out of GLASS was a good idea.
...we'll be playing with it on the 30th at Courtney's. Let's hope it stays in one piece..
Glad you like!

Merry X-mas. And I got not just socks, but the socks. Basically it's what a diety would wear if he/she/it wore socks.

I like my inlaws and we had Christmas there - it was lots of fun. The little sisters in laws still get a thrill out of opening gifts.
I got all my big gifts before Christmas. But I did get a nice robe and a really comfy blanket. I played with my helicopter. We did a deep-fried turkey. Good times.
I did get to give Beth a romantic gift. That was neat. Had to sneak around to get it done, but got reservations to a four-star restaurant, followed by box-seat center tickets for Wicked.

I feel worse for the people whose shit was on fire.[AlmightyPyro] wrote: It's sad though, there's a fire out behind my grandparents house. Not close enough to be dangerous but close enough to see all the smoke. I feel bad for the firemen who have to do that on Christmas.

I got a new ipod nano, but for some reason it's not working with my iBook- I think I need to upgrade my OS.
Question: My boyfriend, who's a French citizen but mainly grew up in London, told me that Boxing Day is a "holiday" to recognize everyone boxing their Xmas things up to put away.
I mean... REALLY? That's all it is?
How disappointing. I thought people walked around hitting each other. =P

Actually, that's incorrect. Boxing Day is where people of higher social standing give presents to their servants and other people of lower social status. Snopes is my source for this, so if anyone wants to dispute it, bring your A-game.Jen_Babcock wrote:I got a new ipod nano, but for some reason it's not working with my iBook- I think I need to upgrade my OS.
