I remember people calling Natalie Portman and Hayden Christiansen bad actors based on their Star Wars work. Ain't nobody alive can recite those lines in any convincing fashion.

My favorite Oz spin off is still Wicked.
I'm glad 90's style forum signatures don't exist anymore.

Seconded.

I'm probably just biased because I love musicals, though.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

That does get irritating, doesn't it? You don't get to see the writer or director, so you end up blaming the messenger.

For some reason a lot of my projects in 2000 had Wizard of Oz references. People started to talk.

That's George Lucas. He can't direct actors. I understand Hayden did some killer acting in the movie he did before Star Wars.

He was lucky to get Harrison Ford in the first batch. He never needs much direction.

hayden's done some decent work, there's a movie "shattered glass" that he wasn't bad in.

the actors in the first three Star Wars also blatantly ignored his direction and writing at key moments, thereby making it better.

It probably also helped that A New Hope is the only one he actually directed and wrote of those three.
Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.

If the whole series is like that cleavage thing, then it must be horribly fun to watch it.
If it's just the cleavage thing and the rest is pretty pedestrian, then meh.
