not all minds are as tough as you might think, she had the trauma of losing her sister at a young age, that could fuck up anyone, super strong or not, the super power may just have been the straw that broke the psycho's back.

And define "mind fracturing" assuming it's not a superpower, shouldn't she have the same kind of psychosis as any normal person? That doesn't include seeing yourself as someone else in your mirror and having a rigorous conversation with them before they take over.

And when DID she last display her super strength? At what point did Nikki get injected with the virus that stops superpowers again?

It seems to me that Sylar and Nikki both were in pretty awesome health - maybe Mohinder is barking up the wrong tree - that straing of virus might just kill the power and not the person?

actually having a conversation with a person who's not there and displaying multiple personalities in the way that niki did isn't too uncommon with scizophrenia and multiple personality disorder, it's just you don't see it like we get to on the show, the beauty of television. Niki's psychosis seems normal to me and she probably would have had it without the powers, the powers just made her other personality a more effective killer. We at least saw her display her strength as niki in the season 1 finale.

As for the virus, the end stage could occur much slower or faster in various people, plus in the case of molly, shanti, and the hatian it was a natural strain of the virus, niki and sylar had a synthetic version that had been tweeked, the effects don't necessarily have to match up.

in the end it could be like having HIV and AIDS, only in this case HIV kills the power, AIDS kills the person, but you can have HIV for a long time before you get AIDS.

I'm disappointed, as hilarious as it was to see Sylar shoot Maya and dump her, I was hoping to see her snap and develop a Harley Quinn-esque devotion.

I'm done with Nikki's character, I really hope they don't bring her back. leave technowiz kid to be raised by Uhura for a few years, then come back with a personality similar to Spider-Man.

I was done with Niki several episodes into the first season. I just don't like her. I didn't really mind that she had such a small part in the second season, and being rid of her would be even better.

Wait...you mean we had both Sulu and Uhura in the same series?

and the accent he used on Heroes

don't get me wrong, I think he's a good actor, but that accent was horrid. probably just too close to his native accent and he had to focus to keep from slipping.
