I have twenty pounds of purring fat American shorthair tabby laying on my right arm right now. I'm losing feeling in my hand, but I don't care. Image
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

76 pushups, 90 situps, 13:35 on my 2 mile. Overall a 292/300 on my physical fitness test. I'm content.

Honestly, I will make a "getting in shape thread" one day. Eventually. When I run out of things to paint or write. Or other distractions.

I was gonna spend the day cleaning...but got up and decided, 'Eh, what the hell' and picked up breakfast, which I ate outside at the park by my apartment. Then, after dropping Jim off at work, I went out to the State Forest, which is quite possibly my favorite place in town, and climbed up the observation tower with my art supplies. After spending awhile up there, just laying around, looking out over the mountains and trees, and sketching an amusement park out in town, I went back down and spent awhile sitting in the middle of the woods on one of the benches by the path, just enjoying the day in general. It was a completely awesome start to the day.

Eh...I have the whole day off tomorrow, so I'll most likely throw all my scattered stuff in the closet to hide it, then dust and stuff!

Hopefully I'll catch one or both of you on chat tonight so I can give you directions...That is, if you haven't already googlestalked them! XD

I was feeling sick again so I took a nap after I got home from work.
I'm woken up two or three hours later by a stupid telemarketer... not just any telemarketer, but one of those stupid recordings.

The cats are biting at my ankles to get me to feed them, the dog is barking and whining for the same
I am grumpy, I am still half-asleep, I stumble to the counter.

And find a large box of strawberries.

Strawberries make everything better.
Mmm.

I better leave some for Dad.

Beth and I are back from the Norths!

We went to Silver Dollar City and spelunked a cave and did some minigolf and saw V for Vendetta and Beerfest, and it was all awesome. They're such cool people. :D

Then, the next day we went on a safari and I got licked by a buffalo, and Beth got licked by a weird cow with a long serpentine tongue, and an emu came after us, and llamas followed our car!

And I even have enough bus money to get to work for the next week - this has never happened before.

Was that the one a little past Springfield?

Anyway...I'll post some of the pictures I took this weekend on the AlterEgos thread later, when I get home from work.

Yup.

We did a "Kat North" style return - Left at 10:45, stopped for lunch at Lamberts (home of the original thrown roll), then went to a safari, stopped at a cheese emporium, and at a chocolate warehouse, later stopped for dinner, and finally eventually pulled in at 8pm. :D

Aah, so THAT'S why y'all took so long getting home (It usually takes hours to get into that place...)

Twenty-five minutes. and nobody told me it was all you can eat.

I'm eating rolls and side items along with my deeeeelicious pot roast. I'm stuffed, just finished the last pot-roast, and the guy comes by and asks if I'd like more pot roast. D: I wouldn't have eaten the damn buns if I'd known I could have more pot roast!

Left him a 60% tip though. Good service.

Speaking of food-stuffs...you left the rest of your Ruby Tuesdays here. And your pie is all gone...I'm gonna have to make another one myself now. (And I look forward to it, too!) :D

I believe I may have just discovered a secret unannounced small set being performed by Bill Bailey, and it's very near my house.

He's going by a fake name, but I have many reasons to suspect that it is him.

Last time this happened, I ended up having my sexuality questioned by Frank Skinner. T'was all in good fun.

I just finished the CS site. now, small tweaking, and i'm all done with it. Moving on to other sites now.
You know, i should work on this.

I figured out that if I was pretty brutal about pruning my jalipeno pepper plants, they would respond by explosively producing jalipenos. I've got a whole 'nother crop of thirty or so peppers!

That brings my total to over two hundred total peppers now. Good eatin' for the last two months.
