days. and days. about six to seven hours on the pencils, two on the inks, and about another three on the colours, if I do it by hand., then colour digitally
about fifteen hours if I do the whole thing digitally.
both figures are without breaks, mind. spread out, with real life in between, several days.

hmmm
i should totally look into that, as i'm always discontent with the final version of my wednesday update, but the main problem is, weekdays, i get out of my school at 4:30 (long days) and weekends, i usually go skateboarding with my buds- so its usually hard to get a lot of working time on mine

Two hours is usually the upper limit for me, but it's been getting slightly faster as time moves on and I find the shortcuts and stuff to cut the time back further. Basically, an hour to sketch it all in front of the telly (at most - sometimes I can get them done in half an hour), then usually between half an hour and an hour on the computer with the colouring and text.
I work quick when I get the chance.

A lot of hours. <.< Sketching, inking, scanning (my scanner was cursed by my computer, so they're both possessed now), colouring on the computer, and stupid balloons/text stuff. Then again, I colour really messily, then go around and erase things, the re-colour...yeah, it's a lot of time for me. <.<

Role of the Die - Since I gave over the art part to Lady Susan Douglas, comics don't take but a few minutes to finish up on my end.
G for Genesis - The actual physical creation (the drawing, coloring, and scripting) takes about five hours, but mentally I have to prepare for about a week. Sometimes more. I'm lazy.

Too long.
I dunno...twenty minutes to half an hour pencilling...half an hour lettering and inking the foreground...half an hour to an hour inking the background (damn bricks)...half an hour fixing errors in Photoshop...ages and ages colouring the Saturday comics (even though I just use solid blocks of colour, generally).
As I said...too long.

Slop-slop-sloppy.
If I actually sat down and worked on it from start to finish, probably about an hour. But I have a short attention span.
For me, it depends on the style of the strip that I'm doing. If I'm trying to draw in a realistic style, it takes a long time to complete a page: 3-5 hours, at least. If I'm drawing in a more cartoonish style, I can usually finish a page in 2-3 hours, and it'll even have more details than the realistic page.
Compare this "realistic" page, which took hours to complete, with this cartoonish page. The former took much longer to complete than the latter.

It depends. Factor in size (I work in two sizes), number of panels, whether I'm doing a strip or a full page, and amount of detail.
As I said, I work in two sizes for my strips: 3¼"x10" (usually single panel strips) and 4"x13". Pages vary from Sunday comic format (although I don't add colour) to a comic book page type thing.
The smaller size strip, I can usually knock out in about 2-3 hours, although it only takes an hour to do single panel strips. Larger strips and pages take anywhere from 4-8 hours to complete.

I have yet to master the art of finishing a page in any less than 20 hours. That's if I work at 9"x12". 11"x14" means I have more space for detail, which means going on thirty hours or so. If I use a pen smaller than the Rapidograph 00, forget about it.

The writing is usually mulled over in my head throughout the day...hard to really measure that.
Although the actual writing of the script takes 15 - 30 minutes.
Laying the comic out and penciling it takes around an 1 to 1 1/2 hours, inking takes another hour and doing the computer stuff takes 1 or 2 hours usually.
Soooo...anywhere from about 3 to 5 hours I'd say for a standard sized comic. Add a another 2 or more hours to that if I decide to torture myself and do a double sized comic.

about 4-5 hours.
-Pencils can be 10mins to 1-2 hours, depending on how into the flow I am.
-Inks generally 30mins to an hour depending on how complicated it is and how much shapie fumes I end up huffing
-Scan/Tone takes me about 1-2 hours total, with much wondering away to find something more interesting to do.
I usually have a nice backlog of inked pages waiting for me to scan them because I just plain hate that part. But it's good for when I'm feeling less than inspired to draw.
