Also, really really twisted.
I didn't get any of the Power Up references apart from the soldiers from Predator and Walter from The Big Lebowski.
All I know is it's Australian stuff. Finest piece of publicly funded art ever created!

I don't think this has been posted here before...but after 21 pages, it's hard to say! I looked through the thread and didn't see it, anyhow, and I thought it was something that REALLY needs to be shown for those poor few who haven't been exposed.

Ask A Ninja

One of the most wonderful short net series out there. ^_^ There's also Axe a Pirate, but they haven't updated since last summer.

The whole thing is utterly rediculous. Seriously...why the hell were they even arrested? H.G. Wells did much worse with War of the Worlds and no one prosocuted. Hell, if anything this is more innocent. Not that I like the idea of cartoon characters flipping me off as I walk down the street. It wasn't a very good marketing campaign, but even so.

And of the $2 million Turner paid out as a result, $1 million went to Homeland Security. My question is- WHY? I mean, why on earth are THEY getting money from this? (edit- the answer is that they aren't, exactly. The Coast Guard is one of the benifiting parties, but that's it as far as I can tell)

Grumble, grumble, grumble...

On an entirely different note...okay, not youtube, but still in the same vein-

For all you Harry Potter fans and critics
For Zelda fans...or if there ARE any fans of Survivor

Orson, not Herbert. And we already got several threads for this.

Here is a clip from Wizard people. An alternative audio track to play while you watch Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone. This is my best bit.

That kid was being a dick, but that Teacher was a WAY bigger dick. For all he knows it could have been the guys mom calling to tell her son that his dad just had a heart attack and is in the hospital. (Probably not, but it's entirely possible).

People with cellphones can be annoying, but the people who get outraged by cellphone are 100 times more annoying.

if Shatner did guest star on CSI Miami, it would take him and Caruso the whole damn hour just to get through the exposition

Waves in a Sphere of Water. From NASA. Probably done in the Space Shuttle. It's bizzarely beautiful and the science types out there will get a kick out of it.

Any of you ever see the movie Blade Runner? Here's a pair of commercials for a British bank, made in the 1980's, which seem to be directly inspired by Ridley Scott's bleak cyberpunk vision.
