I was thinking about life this morning, and how strange and unpredictable it can be sometimes. Where we end up is almost never where we intended to be, and sometimes, the smallest things can have a huge impact. Almost all of us came to Comic Genesis with the intent of posting our comics on the web, but by getting actively involved in the community here, many of us have come away with a whole lot more. So think about the good things that wouldn't be in you life had you never come to CG, and let the rest of us know how Comic Genesis has affected your little world.
I'll start it off by saying that if it weren't for Comic Genesis, I never would have met all of you, and though I know we have our differences, I am so grateful for what each and every one of you bring to my life on a daily basis. If it weren't for Comic Genesis, I never would have met Stinkywigfiddle, a person who has turned out to be the most like-minded friend I could have ever hoped for - something I thought I would never find in this life. Comic Genesis has even brought me closer to my friends outside of the internet. I can honestly say that had I never come here, I would be a much more sad and lonely person.
(And by extension, I never would have been introduced to "Blankets," by Craig Thompson, and that would have been a real shame, indeed.
