Kisai and I were chatting about it, and I'm suggesting that if it's just plain artsy nudity then it'd be okay to inline it. However, if any type of sex act were to be depicted, best to link.stinkywigfiddle wrote:So we don't have to link to these?

There are two concerns with inlining:
1) people getting offended at seeing something they didn't want to see
2) advertisers wanting to pull advertising because its outside the PG scope.
And two technical issues:
a)photobucket/imageshack deletes nudity
b)the forums attachment system auto-inlines images that are less than 800 pixels wide.
If something has artistic merit, there should be no reason for imageshack/photobucket to remove it, and by that extent should be -safe- to inline. However a lot of people jump the gun and report anything with nipples.
So I'd like to suggest that people just draw the line at tasteful nudity, and if people complain, just change it to a link and don't bother defending inlining it. I do like to think that people on CG are smart and mature enough to know when something may cross the line.
(If you want to use the forums attachment system to upload stuff, make sure the image is wider than 800 pixels and that will make it automatically a link)

My stuff must have the most artistic merit of all!

But I like to make people work a little to see it.

It was just a quick colorization experiment. I wasn't too focused on parts above the waist, to be honest. Or anatomical realism, for that matter. Believe me, if you saw the whole, uncropped drawing, you could further rip it apart. It all doesn't have to be perfect, though. We're cartoonists. We work in caricature. Sometimes, it's gonna be quick and dirty, and so you've gotta fudge attention away from mistakes (like blue rough lines forming nipples that shouldn't exist) and towards the strong points. (like luscious ass renderings) At any rate, it was a fun exercise, and I learned something.Dr Neo Lao wrote:The right thigh (the one on the right) seems to be a tad larger than the one on the left. Or is that just a trick of the shading / highlighting on the left thigh?
The deltoid and trapezius are a little ill-defined in the left shoulder, but I love how the latissimus dorsi blends right into the erector spinae!
The only real criticism I'd have is that on this angle, the nipple ought not be visible. Unless there was some unspoken, bra-related mishap.
Not that I can really talk... I'm shyte at drawing the human body..... perhaps I ought to study it more. Yeah, that's it.
Thanks for the crit!
Here's another sketch I did not long ago. (more boo-tay!)

A curvy hip is my favorite part on a woman to draw.

Woo! @ War and Hurray for naked fox butt!
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die
