I'd never read Jesslyn Stormheart before, so I looked at a few pages and found, as I suspected, that it's not my kind of comic at all, which is not necessarily a knock against it, since my tastes in comics don't tend to jibe with most people's.
From what I saw, though, I think the potential target audience for this comic is bigger than what Komiyan predicts, because there seem to be a lot of people that aren't bothered by the kinds of things that Sortelli and some others were discussing earlier. I'll also point out that Jesslyn and my strip started out at about the same time, and he's got more readers than me.
So, yeah, not really my kinda strip and I think a lot of the criticism is valid, but I'll wager that if the artist continues to improve on his(?) technique (and I already see some improvement between the first and most recent pages), that audience might be quite a lot of people.
