Help! My comic isn't updating this morning.

I uploaded today's comic to workspace:comics about 3am, California time. Then I went to siteadmin and did a full manual update. Only 1 person was listed in the queue ahead of me, (which is typical for that time of the morning) but the comic is not updating. This is the first time I've encountered this problem, and if I can't fix it, it will be the first time I've missed deadline.

I titled my file 20060824.jpg, the same as usual. The image is a bit wider than my usual comic -- surely that's not the problem, is it? The file size is no bigger than usual.

On my computer, it's still coming up as Tuesday instead of Thursday.

First of all, do not do full updates. They are needlessly taxing on the server and are not necessary except in a select few cases. A regular update is what you want in 99% of cases.

Second, what is your update offset at? Not all comics update at the same time.

Third, check your indextemplate.html and make sure you haven't replaced ***todays_comics*** with something else. Also, make sure you don't have a copy of index.html in your workspace/webpages folder.

Actually I'm having the same problem, and I've never had this with either of my comics before.

Same, here. I tried uploading both new Index and daily templates at 4 am, Eastern. And I just tried again. They don't seem to want to load.

I'm also having trouble updating my index. I made a few extra pages (about, links, and gallery) and made appropriate changes to my index file. I've been trying to update for the past half hour or so and to no avail.

So it IS clogged...
I was wondering, because usually when this happens, there are gazillion of updates in the queue (why did I have to look up how to spell that? *feels incompetent* ).
But this time the only one showing up in the queue was me, making my first thought "there you go again, stupid, you did something wrong xD " (so much for selfconfidence.... )

It's not clogged (AFAIK) in the sense that updates aren't queued. They are processed, but incorrectly. They'll probably run an automatic update on everyone's comic once the bug is fixed.

It's not as much clogged but leaking.

AutoKeen's broken. I'm looking at fixing it. It looks like Kisai's faceplanted infront of the keyboard...

...okay, try triggering updates on your comics now. AutoKeen's running again.

I'm so glad this isn't just me... All week long I told my users "be SURE to come by for a special update on Thursday!!"......

I had to put the update up temporarily on Live Journal with a link in my shoutbox (which is slow and flakey this morning too! arg!)
