Wow...O.o;;
Hey. I was just looking at everyone's profiles and I just realised how long most of us have been here for- it's quite amazing really. For example, I've been on the Arcana forums for two years (or there abouts). It's shocking to think about how long that is, really. I mean, I wasn't even 13 when I joined Arcana- I'm 15 now. I go back and read some of the posts people made and marvel that you can see how much everyone has matured. I know that some poeple have been here longer than me, but it seems like quite an acheivment to have been devoted to something for so long. There's friendships here- so many- and the amusing thing is that not many of us have ever met. And yet, we feel open enough to talk about problems, our emotions and what's happening in our lives. It just amazes me...I don't know why. I just thought I'd mention that ^.^ How long have the rest of you guys been around Arcana?

I started reading Arcana when I was 10 (And that's what turned me to my yaoi-loving self), and I joined the forum on: 22 Apr 2004
Two years! Wow. I joined after Arcana finished (Duh) so I could talk to people who liked it- but we never talk about Arcana much nowadays...
Oh well.

No road is long with good company
I think the most amazing thing about a good story, is its ability to connect people. The original idea that brings us all together and gives us something to share, only shows us that there are some truly great people out there.
From a simple comic that brought a little bit of happiness in our lives, we have all met a great bunch of people. Some live far from each other, others have brought their friends here, not just to read the comic, but to connect with new friends.
Arcana for me was a great escape. Fantastic Art, not overdone, but simple, to the point and honest. It is great to see the story isnt lost somewhere in all the pretty pictures. Too many comics go the way of the DoDo when they try to be more about the art, than the story. Sure, great pictures are amazing to look at, but only hold your interest for so long.
What Kellie has done with Arcana, with the characters, the art... the storyline has created an entire world, to be absorbed into and become part of...even if it is just for a little while. The impact it has had on us all shows through the great fan stories and artwork done by some of us here.
I only wish I had more time to do more drawings for Fanart, but limited time means limited fun. I miss that fact that Arcana Forums have slowed and died somewhat, but its great to know that contact continues with many of the friends made here...whether it be over MSN, Gmail, Email, AIM, etc.
I miss you all here, and hope that one day, Arcana Forum really thrives again, with great stories set in the Arcana World and to see Fanart again...
-misses the fanart-
Take care everybody
Two years + and will be around for more.....

Ah memories of great times here
Late nights of pointless posts back in the days of Mavv the theif and tenthousandkings to the new generation that isnt that new anymore.
For me Arcana was a door into a whole new world where i met some of the most amazing people i think i'll ever know and i've loved every minute of being here the RP's that never quite went anywhere were great fun as everyone put a part of themselves into their characters mabye a part that has helped us understand a little more about everyone else.
Also how we haveall freely spoken to eachother and shared so many things like music, Anime, and even our emotions.
I am truly grateful for all of you and thanks for being here.

Aww *hugs Vampz*
That's so true. *grin* I wish the original Arcana RPG would pick back up- I loved that so much ^.^
We need to start another (and keep it going- which will be the difficult part).
